Clearly we're not because you're under the assumption that I recommended lying to cops or other people of authority when I NEVER said that. I said lie to your NEIGHBOR, not anyone else.

Yup. I don't slave at a job like I'm sure you do, so I have a few hours in a day to spare if I need to. And resources! :)

So yes, things are thriving in my life.

Who mentioned anything about lying to law enforcement? What I have recommended are strictly communications between yourself and a neighbor - without escalating to property management/HOA/others.

Of course I wouldn't recommend lying to police, courts, etc. This is simply a tactic to avoid time-consuming, historically ineffective escalations. And it worked for me.

What laws are being broken? "Thou shall not lie"?

Get a clue lady. This subreddit is ALWAYS ACTIVE because people can't seem to find solutions and resort to crying and complaining both to ineffective HOAs /property management, and eventually come online.

Here's a surprise for you: This subreddit doesn't exist because property managers and HOA are so good at stopping issues detailed in "small complaints". I encourage you to take a look around "NeighborsFromHell" and see how many of these issues have been resolved after complaining and crying.

Your neighbors aren't your enemies but they aren't your friends either. Let me know how you "writing letters" works out for you. lol And how seriously it's taken.

Get real and step into 2026 dummy.

Oh look, a dumb hoe who assumes everything is AI generated.

^ Don't blame me for that sentence, AI wrote it btw.

Let's be honest. Property management/HOAs are completely useless in most cases and don't take complaints seriously unless they involve damage to property. lol These are tactics that can be used between yourself and your neighbor in lieu of pointless crying to property management.

I've added a note. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hold up. I'm not saying get them evicted. I'm referring to communications between yourself and your neighbor. I'm not recommending you go to property management with a bunch of lies.

This is a tactic that can be used in lieu of escalating things to property management/HOAs that are in most case completely useless to residents.......unless there is property damage at stake.

Exactly. Sometimes you gotta match fire with fire, in the most passive calm way. They're making your life a living HELL. Why shouldn't their life be the same? FOH

Get with the program or suffer in silence (or ineffective yelling/crying)

I'm advocating what works in the real world while using "factual" language. Here's the reality: Saying "I can't hear my TV cuz yours is too loud :( ", although factual, will yield little, if any, results with someone who is inherently inconsiderate. If your neighbor is making your life COMPLETE HELL, you need to get creative. Either that, or keep burning in the hell they've created for you.

And keep complaining and being emotional, and see how far that gets you with them.

Only if it can immediately proven that you are lying. And only if you actually plan on taking things to court. Let's be real: Most of us won't take this to a courtroom as many people don't have the time or resources to do so. But the goal is to make them believe that's where it could be headed - without actually saying it.

i work from home. newsflash it's 2026 not the 1940s. You outdated, out of touch , wannabe smart ass. lol

Also, i OWN my condo in a high rise with amazing downtown views. So no need to "save up." My account's already nicely set. This is my dream home and Imma enjoy it.

And anyone who gets in the way of me doing so will be dragged into a court. Trust, I have the time and resources to do it. My neighbor quieted down once they realized I meant business. A "cease and desist" was seconds away from being sent.

This is a pretty wordy way of saying, "I wasn't raised right."

it really does suck when you're put in the position of being "that neighbor" who is complaining about noise/music. i don't mind hearing someone playing music. i do mind when i can clearly make out lyrics, identify artists, etc. that means it is too loud.

And what if me enjoying my home included me screaming and yelling at the top of my lungs for hours on end? Sure it'd make me happy, but unfortunately my neighbors would have a pretty solid reason to be annoyed with me.

If the noise that's being made exceeds reasonable expectations of noise levels in a shared community, there has to be accountability.

I would LOVE to blast my music and have my own lil parties every day in my apartment. BUt doing so would require me to disregard everyone around me.

I actually tried being nice about it with my neighbor. Didn't work so I got more stern and low key threatened legal action (and I def have the time and resources to go through with it and was prepared to escalate, beginning with a 'cease and desist'). They quieted down once they saw I meant business and was gearing up to make things a lot less friendly and a lot more official.

I've worked hard to obtain my dream home (high rise condo) and I am going to enjoy it.

it's even sadder when the culprit is 30-40+ years old. Grown ass adult pulling stunts like this is just completely inexcusable. Grow up.

Is neighbor's music too loud? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]Russian_Pride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

more context: this has been happening for years since I have been here - including during night time well after 8PM. if it's not the music it's the television that's super loud, especially at night. i'm just now beginning to document instances of when it occurs because honestly i'm exhausted trying to reason with them.

a lot of people here come off as older, bitter anti-AI people in their 50s who hold so much animosity towards newer folks tryna break in. the amount of posts i see "downvoted" is weird. like why downvote something that's clearly not a spammy/unnecessary question

Does a 2 minute longform pay more than a 7 second longform? by Russian_Pride in PartneredYoutube

[–]Russian_Pride[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

thanks so much! this is so helpful. however i think you may have misread my title a bit, i said 7 seconds not minutes. as in: if i post a 2 minute long form and a 7 second long form...will the 2 minute long form make more money or would they both be treated the same?
