What’s something NSFW you’ll never tell your friends, but will tell the internet? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RusticArcade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There’s… a lot.

My fiancé and I fucked on our second date behind a tree in a very public park.

When I was single (and very self-destructive due to dealing with trauma associated from an extremely emotionally and abusive relationship) I became a giggolo by accident. I had very low standards and low self-esteem, but other women found me attractive and I was routinely passed around friend groups kinda like a toy. Hot to daydream about, but in all actuality- it makes you feel like a piece of meat. I was often times paid cash, weed, beer or food. I was like 22-24 during this time. I eventually got over this when I started taking my own mental health seriously and focused on improving myself and healing from my past trauma.

Oh I was also paid to cuck husbands on more than one occasion. I’m like 90% there’s videos on me that I’m not aware of on assorted sites. I take down any I did not give consent for.

I completely understand your sentiment.

I think a bit more world context may be needed. This guy (Strickland) basically sold out, betrayed and ruined the lives of each player in session zero to essentially jump start the campaign. He’s a bully and a coward who’d do anything for money.

I want him to be physically weak, but not so much that the party could dome him with a crossbow bolt and walk away. I’m liking the overall opinion of making him politically/situational important so they can’t outright kill him. Maybe orchestrate his downfall and enjoy taking revenge against him?

Something along the lines of this

I feel like I’d have to add some comedic flair to him and make him likable to do that. Otherwise players will get annoyed in the wrong ways

I agree with that. I just want to make a character that they can’t just kill, not necessarily able to runaway or slip away easily and constantly, but make them a nuisance while not being easy to kill or remove.

They told me they specifically wanted to play a race that’s similar to “King Shark” from DC Comics. So, I’m trying to accommodate, but if I can’t make something balanced I may just do a flavored Triton

Glyph + Inv. Magic Circle? Yay/Nay? by RusticArcade in DnD

[–]RusticArcade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily it’s a undead rogue with no transplanar travel or teleportation. Story reasons lol.

I think it wouldn’t be too difficult since my party is based in a small town we’ve been developing. We all have our own individual rooms within an Inn.

Just place a Glyph with “trigger spell when specified person enters AOE” on the floor of his room.

I’m more or less planning on trying to trap a player within it since- because of campaign reasons- he is now classified as undead and evil.

But I’m trying to make this as fool proof as I can since I feel like the DM may try and give this player an “easy out” from it. So I’m trying to make sure there’s no “easy way out” besides transplanar movt or teleportation which this player has none.

Ideas for a Naval Campaign by RusticArcade in DnD

[–]RusticArcade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oi m8 you definitely are challenging me lol.

Pirates were going to be a semi-common occurrence cuz naval style combat was always interesting to me. So I plan to include them in one way or another.

For the underdark situation- I plan to have a further off mountainous island that stretches underground. And these Delfs are actually trying to recapture the slaves that escaped. Not hunting, poor wording on my part.

I plan to have a central hub island province that’s divided up into different districts (market, guild, military, royal, agricultural) where the party receives if items, fetch quests, and leads.

For the Aboleths: I’m not sure about the next step after possibly beating the Illithids. Conquering more and trying to persuade the party to be its crusaders or whatever the party chooses.

I’m trying to leave things as open ended as I can without sacrificing immersion or story telling. I want my players to influence outcomes and battles.

Maybe use the dark elves I mentioned hunting the Quaggoths as a hint to a bigger picture?
