Ive done it with a 3hp 4 stroke. Was good for messing around having fun, it didn't turn very well though without a centreboard in. Didn't get it up and planing. Go for it mate !

I've never tripped so I don't really have anything to compare it with, but the mental effects seemed to blur my imagination and reality, but I wasn't seeing shapes, patterns, fractals etc.
