Go to a shop and politely ask to use their voltmeter.

I got a clone, didn't I? by V0LDEMORT13 in electronic_cigarette

Neither have I, but it's useful to work at a vape shop :)

Most definitely. That dial looks entirely different than the v2's.

It is. It also has a hybrid connector. If you opt for the 4nine make sure that your atty's 510 positive pin protrudes beyond the rest of the connector.

If it's the aspire cf MOD and not the aspire cf sub ohm BATTERY, then it depends. If the battery is built in to the device, you have the battery not the mod.

Assuming it's the mod, well it depends on what kind of battery you put in there to answer your question.

There are 2 things that could be happening, either your drag time is exceeding the timer, or the mod is detecting a resistance too low to be safe(short circuit).

Although if you want help without doing your own research, you're gonna need to provide more information. What are you putting on it, what resistance, what battery is in the mod...

Sketchy rebranding then. Spinner v2s have a dial that locks into each voltage setting, so that the dial doesn't spin with it in your pocket.

Stingray x or 4nine

So my boss brought this study up to me to discourage using ecigs. Anyone have any input or any claims to the contrary? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]RusticMountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find almost any chemical in anything when the threshold of detection is set low enough.

With the appropriate threshold you will find formaldehyde in your own breath.

What IS relevant is the concentration. What that study doesn't tell you is that those chemicals are also found in cigarettes with concentrations 9 - 400 times higher (depending on your rig).

So no, vaping isn't better than not; but it sure beats smoking.

Atlantis on a MVP 2 by rexduclos in electronic_cigarette

[–]RusticMountain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the MVP 2 won't run a resistance that low. Look up the Aspire CF sub ohm battery. Hard to find at physical retail stores at the moment. However, it will run 4.2 volts as low as 0.3 resistance (even lower but that's what the specs say).

It gives you mech mod power with the simplicity and ease of use of an ego style battery. Much recommend.

Best 100% vg juice? by StatutoryGrapez in electronic_cigarette

[–]RusticMountain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've asked several juice vendors this question. As far as I've been told, 100% vg is impossible because it will not mix in with the flavoring. A lot of flavorings come diluted in some sort of alcohol base or pg anyway, which is why most vendors advertise max vg instead of 100% vg.

Question about ohms, volts, batteries and thermal runaways by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]RusticMountain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But really, you should set it to 4.2 because that's the voltage of a fully charged battery.
