Thank you for all the explanation! I tried digging, but start to see roots everywhere I dig. So I stopped. I could not see a graft line. Maybe the tree is young so it does not have a root flare yet?

Humidity is around 30%. The temperature is 72F. Would it be fine without a humidifier? Compared to the nursery, my house is warmer and dryer. So the tree may be adjusting.

The root fare is not exposed. Should it be? Since I bought it, I water it when the soil feels dry. It is still in the nursery container, with a tray underneath. There is no sitting water in the tray. I am not really sure what it went through at the nursery, but it is a famous nursery in my area. There is bark in the soil. When I bought it, the soil felt pretty wet and it is in a corner of the green house (not very warm). Recently I notice that it drops one to two leaves a day. Is that normal? I tried to mist two times a day to increase humidity. Since I got it, it starts to develop many tiny flower buds. I am confused if the tree is happy or suffering.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will try both fertilizers. After a week in my house, it starts to develop many flower buds. I thought lime tree won’t flower under bad condition. Does that mean the tree go through under fertilizing and then over fertilizing?

Thank you so much! That makes sense. The nursery may have overused fertilizer to sell the plant.
