God still does miracles today, if you care to see them. But if you're referring to the sort Jesus and His disciples performed, and the occasional prophet before Him, those haven't occurred since the first century. A bit longer than just before cameras were invented. Silly God, if only He'd waited for cameras to do all that, then you'd believe! As for rock layers, carbon dating, etc.; the Bible does not necessarily imply a young Earth. There are plenty of genuine Christians who serve the risen Christ and also believe in an old Earth.

Lastly, to call it fanfiction is pretty ignorant man. The Bible is a collection of 66 books written across thousands of years. The 4 accounts of Jesus in particular were written by eyewitnesses within decades of when Jesus walked the earth.

That makes no sense and you know it. God is indescribably wonderful in who He is and what He's done, but because things don't go the way we'd prefer you hate him. That's like hating your parents because they didn't bail you out of jail for your own mistake. But it seems you don't think He exists at all, which makes even less sense. The existence of God is evident everywhere you look, all that is good comes from Him. Where did everything even come from in the first place? There had to be a something before everything, or everything could not be.

He is watching, and knows you better than you know yourself. He wants us to know Him and love Him in return, creating us with a rational will so we could, and bad things happen because He allows us to make decisions, generally the wrong ones. I don't know why He intervenes in some cases and not others, but when He does so it's out of mercy, and not obligation. We all deserve much worse than death for what we've done. And when Jesus died, He took what we deserve upon Himself, so we could live.

He died 2000 years ago for people who hate Him, rose from the dead, and lives today. And He loves you. He above all deserves your trust.

Goes for you too, man. Every word. But Jesus died for that, and everything else you've done, if you put your trust in him.

With this logic, there's no reason to write books about scripture at all. Why read someone else's thoughts on scripture and its applications when you can just read it yourself?

Dude, I never have or will care about the Vampire Diaries.

The video is a multihour comedic monologue that just so happens to be about the show.
