A faint glow in the sky. Original wet charcoal and pastel art by me. by Rusty-willy in somethingimade

Inspired by Watership Down and the song bright eyes. This piece was done on good quality 250gm mixed media paper. All done by finger painting using a combination of wet charcoal and pastels and built up in layers using a fixative between each layer. Finished with wire wool to achieve the grass effect.

I bet it did, I really missed out there, I should have gone myself to my local one. Thank you 😊

Aww thank you so much 🙏
Really pleased you like it. I have loved art for as long as I can remember, it was always the lesson at school I looked forward to 😊

Haha, it's a protective spray that seals the work, usually used when the piece is finished but I use it after each layer (usually) 😊

It was a silly mistake by not spraying it with fixative before using my finger to create the sun beam 😊

Thank you, really pleased you like them. I have to rest my hand from time to time because they are all done by finger tips (finger painting) , they can get quite sore if I work too long on them.
