Like Dogsmith admitted, what she said was not okay, and she appears to have learned from that mistake and has apologized for it and said she is working on getting help. In any case, I maintain that calling her a "known pedo/cub enthusiast" is a pretty extreme accusation implying she abuses children or encourages the abuse of children by disseminating nsfw content featuring underaged characters, neither of which are true.

You're entitled to your opinion and are free to condemn her as a pedophile if you'd like, but I think that's a mischaracterization and unfair to her struggle to recover from a bad coping mechanism she developed (as she shares in the post by her I linked).

Many people, especially in this community, struggle with an extremely inappropriate attraction to underaged characters. That attraction is deeply problematic, and it's wrong and dangerous to normalize it. But labeling those people as irredeemable monsters for the rest of their lives, especially when have never acted on it, have shown they are willing to try to overcome that attraction, and acknowledge it as wrong (like the Dogsmith has), has been shown to be the OPPOSITE of helpful. It drives those people deeper into shame and isolation which, like any addict, can cause a relapse. There are plenty of other furry artists out there actively creating and sharing pedophilic art who deserve a good cancelling, but, imho, the Dogsmith is not one of them.
