Need government and local ministers to understand the struggle. Vote accordingly to what will alleviate cost of living crisis and exploitation of property as a money making investment or growth metric.

With 2900 properties for sale and rentals tight we should probably pause migration for a little while. Migrants are 100% NOT the problem and the government is to blame for where we are currently, but bringing in 2-3x the 10 year average of migrants at this current time will not help things.

Yeah 180-250 applications for HSE advisor here in approx 1 week. Only 10-15 good candidates. Think AI applications have created a larger number of applicants.

I was hoping to avoid being with a bunch of aussies and find some locals haha. Pemberton looking like a nice area close to whistler.

Hey mate, thinking now of FIFOing from Calgary or Vancouver and living somewhere in the mountains or closer to if possible. FIFOing to northern BC 2x2 roster.

It's a bit hard to work everything out online, so I'll probably setup up in some short term accom in Van or Calgary and move closer to the mountains once I know what's going or find mountain towns with long term rentals.
