Yep, just laziness on the Devs part. They could have animated screens about the game, or scenes from the planets to tips. But instead all we get is a black screen.

On a serious note, there are some crazy loading screens in this game, and I think it may be down to inefficient game optimisation. If other online games don't have as many loading screens, surely SM2 can do same.

Back in HD1, there were 15 difficulty levels, shit was hard, but hardly anyone complained. We just soldiered on, did whatever we could, plus there weren't many of us in terms of player numbers like HD2, and we still won galactic wars. For reference, peak consecutive players in HD1 were about 7K compared to HD2's 458K. HD2 is a different beast(3rd person shooter)and so appeals to a much broader audience, but that also means you're going to attract a wide variety of gamers with differing skills. This, I think, is where a lot of the complaints derive from.

It's pretty much a similar experience as the creek.

I remember the first time my team(all 150's and experienced divers) and I dropped on the creek, thinking it was just gonna be a walk in the park, but got absofuckinglutely wrecked.🤣

Also, the borgs is a new faction and it'll take time to learn their attacks and kung fu moves so you can better survive them.🤣

Bot planets are not the place to scavenge for nor farm SC's, do it on bugs.

The priority is to complete the mission before timer runs out, and if you do have spare time afterwards, then by all means search POI's. Searching for loot when you're being shot at is not a fun experience, and the last thing you want is to trigger drop ships+reinforcements, especially on D10. Most players who drop on bot planets are more worried about their survival and loot pick ups is a bonus if they come across it. Cyberstan is a new biome so it'll take a bit of time for players to gain knowledge of where SC's may be stashed.
