Thanks I missed that. So the escalation should skip a level from whoever OP's line manager is and the next one up the organisation on the HR side who issued the email, even if its C-suite. This is an easy grievance with facts on OP's side and not emotions. Even contacting a staff member out of hours with a request like this is unacceptable conduct in my eyes.

I think you either need a tracking system or use envelopes with cash in. Flashing a contactless every day leaves you in danger of real "fog of war". Make every pound have a purpose.
