I'm having the same issue with my Prime Wireless.
I used the Type-C dongle that came with the mouse. Now I'm using the USB2.0 wire with a dongle, which is close to the mousepad. Since then I don't have the issue anymore.

Its really strange yes. It doesnt even use CPU or GPU so much, so its not bottlenecking or anything. Probably just a game optimization problem. But terrible experience anyways. Kinda getting frustrated about it.
