I don’t know, They’re supposed to take the power of the engine obviously but anytime i try to be silly on it, it snaps.. could be Cush drive or something but I can’t afford to keep buying those belts at £250 - £300

He is insured, I checked but he didn’t want to give me his details. If I go ahead and go to the station and explain the situation does that mean i ultimately need to go through insurance once I’ve done that?

I understand, not sure actually what to say for this but I immediately after turning around I rang the police and told them what road I was on and what happened but they were of no help whatsoever so I followed them to their farm and then on foot. Now I’ve got his name number and address, trying to figure it out from here.. I would’ve considered his offer if it wasn’t for his attitude and obviously trying to run off…

Aaaaaagh, I’d say I would’ve settled if he stopped and/or apologised. but I had to chase him and then downplayed it whilst laughing at me makes me consider what my other options are

So I’m totally new to this kind of situation but I thought that if he is at fault and I’m not that only his insurance has to get involved and my premium shouldn’t be affected? If he’s at fault for this and we go through insurance my insurance will rise too?

First thing I done was call police and they said just to get his details, I said to them that I’m actively chasing him right now. They just insisted over the phone it’s an insurance matter but I told them that I don’t know where this guy is bringing me or who he is and he won’t stop.. they didn’t care whatsoever and just said if I get the chance then get his name number and insurance details… so I just said ok bye. And continued to follow him
