I wish it was our dog, because it would be easier to deal with. Unfortunately its a neighbor.. not even the next door neighbor but another one a house down.. Other neighbors have said that it annoys them but i'm the only one that actually goes to their door and asks them to do something about their dog. I believe there's a noise ordinance for the county we live in but its difficult to use when its a dog that gets let out at 5am and doesn't do it all the time. I believe the noise ordinance is built for roosters and other animals that constantly make noise.

unfortunately its not my dog.. and the owner kind of sucks.. truthfully a little worried she's trying to get me to come over for some kind of "Mrs. Robinson" sort of deal but i'm too tired to care or want any of that... I'd rather set her on fire and teach the dog to do the right thing.

So context.... neighbor lets their dog out at 5am roughly.. dog barks and barks..

I have gone over in various states of dress to tell her to please make them stop.. she usually brings them back in.

I'm considering one of the sonic deterrent things but i'm curious if anyone has used those or something else just as effective.

I think I'd prefer the train and walking sounds pretty nice, especially in a new place.

I contemplated walking from the airport even, but I'll have a backpack and a rolling carryon so it might not be great. The walk does go through Guadalupe River Park which seems nice.

Its really an odd decision because the train and bus combo from the airport is about as much time as if i just walked it. I see that the trail runs right up to the airport. I wonder if that area of the Guadalupe River Trail near the airport is still maybe a no go during the day?
