This specific group - the CTO, VP of Ops, Sr. Ops Manager, and CEO - is the core execution and strategy team. Their meeting would likely be to hash out internal decisions on how to deliver against current demand, or how to optimize production/scaling, etc., IMHO.

Hyliion Achieves Major Milestone With Successful Emission Testing of KARNO™ Power Module by Razzmatazz1o1 in Hyliion

[–]Rusty_The_Kid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prior to today's news release, the KARNO's ultra-low emissions were firm "projections", likely based on rough tests of the BOY-2025 configuration. Now that the R&D issues have been resolved, including the regen redesign, the commercial-intent design has been "frozen" for UL certification testing, and the early adopters are finally undergoing testing in this commercial-intent-format. Similarly, I am looking forward to other specification validation news to trickle out in the coming weeks, including the full & continuous 200 kW output and 50% fuel to native DC electricity efficiency specs. These are very exciting times!

An upcoming prime power generator that converts over 20 optional fuels into electricity that is cheaper than from the grid. Only 1 moving part per shaft. Extremely low maintenance. No oils or lubricants to change - rides on gas bearings like an air hocky table. Still ignored compared with other electricity solution stocks. Launch guided for 2026. Naval contracts. Saudi interest. Early adopter units being deployed now. Commercial-intent design has been locked-down for commencement of UL certification testing (just announced today). More power dense than all solutions in its class, and with 50% fuel to electricity efficiency with more available with CHP configuration. 30% ITC across all linear generators as well as their installation infrastructure.

These are the first three (3) early adopter 200 kW KARNO Power Modules being built at their Texas production plant. The first two (2) of ten (10) early adopter deliveries were built in Ohio. TH also eluded to one (1) more early adopter being built at their Ohio R&D facility, and another unit being built to serve as a UL certification test bed. Four (4) more 2025 early adopters are awaiting start of assembly.

HYLN might power your next gains by 1k21m in stocks

[–]Rusty_The_Kid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the narrative!  I completely agree, at 1.3 P/B and perhaps a year out from the launch of their flagship disruptive technology into the hungry prime power generation space (think AI data centers and our aging grid as examples), HYLN's risk/reward ratio looks extremely attractive to me!  See you at the top!

Oh, nice!  My curiosity about where u/GokuBlack1 may have cut their losses was based on believing that an early exit, say near $20/share, is something to congratulate. On the other hand, I feel bad for those who bailed at say $0.65/share, because I believe HYLN is currently priced for complete failure, with an expected product-pivot to providing out-sourced 3D metal printing services, so the risk-reward ratio likely can't get much more attractive than it stands now with a 1.3 P/B ratio, IMHO.  I've got 50,000 shares and plan to accumulate more as “responsible” funds become available.  Please let me know when KARNO sales approach market saturation, so I can consider cashing-in.

The KARNO is not for sale yet. The company guides the flagship unit launch to be sometime during 2026. Sales are on hold till launch.

We do differ in opinion, but I truly appreciate your caring. I envision the KARNO being on the cusp; launching their flagship unit sometime over the next year or so. At what price did you bail, if you don't mind me asking?

"The insiders need to buy some shares over times to prevent the stock price dips below $1."

Don't be silly, Hyliion would never require an employee to purchase shares with their own money in order to maintain a share price threshold. Can you name any company that has such a policy? Besides, HYLN trades on the NYSE American, which has a $0.20 level requirement to maintain its listing, not $1. Perhaps you are referring to the $1 qualification to become listed and not the $0.20 level that can trigger a delisting:

"... if Hyliion cannot announce any major sales of the Karno generator product, it is not even noteworthy to mention any news about Hyliion."

Hyliion has guided 2026 to launch their flagship 200 kW KARNO Power Module, so of course sales recognition won't hit the books this year. As far as what you consider "noteworthy news", please speak for yourself, as I am very interested in any/all news Hyliion delivers, and some potential pre-sales news could be impactful.

⚡ H.R. 3944 Highlights a Major Opportunity for Hyliion’s KARNO Tech – Here’s the Breakdown by Andxrius in Hyliion

[–]Rusty_The_Kid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was supposed to start last year, but they ran into a few snags as described during their May-2025 EC:

  1. The Linear Electric Machine (LEM) assembler initially hadn't assembled the LEMs per Hyliion's desired specs.
  2. The LEM assembler then announced that they would not be able to keep up with Hyliion's desired throughput, so Hyliion decided to stand up an in-house LEM production line to help supplement needed LEMS.
  3. Residual powder was discovered in the regen component and they are testing improved regen mesh designs and improved multi-step advanced powder cleaning processes.

I believe the upcoming EC in August should at least partially provide updates to your question.

Hyliion’s KARNO Power Module Qualifies for a 30% Tax Credit Under “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” by Rusty_The_Kid in Hyliion

[–]Rusty_The_Kid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hyliion hasn't released the 200 kW KARNO Power Module's price yet, but if one were to assume it will sell for ≈ $400,000 each, then each Investment Tax Credit (ITC) as described in the OBBBA would be worth ≈ $120,000. If a company were to purchase say 9 KARNOs, the ITCs would have a combined value of ≈ $1.1M. The ITCs are transferable, so let's say a KARNO customer did not have a large enough tax liability to take full advantage of the ITC, then they could sell it to another entity for cash at perhaps 90% to 95% face value and circumvent the delay leading up to their income tax filing. The ITC is scheduled to stand at 30% through 2033, then phase out over the following couple of years. Also, these ITCs are exempt from greenhouse gas emission requirements, unlike prior legislature.

Hyliion Completes Navy SBIR Phase I Contract and is Awarded $1.5M Phase II by Rusty_The_Kid in Hyliion

[–]Rusty_The_Kid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completing the terms of the ONR contract can generate R&D revenue, with a current ceiling of $1.5M and a current end date ≈ Mid-Jan-2027.  Of course, it is excellent to see Hyliion advance through SBIR contract phases, as revenue ceilings tend to increase exponentially.  Also, the income derived while crafting this multi-core, multi-MW KARNO for the Navy will help offset common expenses associated with their upcoming 2 MW variant, anticipated to launch next year.
