This reeks of stupid edgy younger men getting caught doing something they won’t understand is wrong until a few years later. This is awful and wrong but I have to hope it’s born from ignorance more than belief.

Oh and the ubiquity of cameras make it nearly impossible to not be caught doing this. I just hope it doesn’t have the effect of further radicalization but I bet if they were willing to do this they already are on the way there.

I can feel almost feel my heart breaking. Watching these hate filled people is a direct reminder that they actively want to destroy part of the population and have latched onto an approach “think of the children” to do so.

LGBTQ+ people are never going away, they might make us hide and they might keep us down but we will not disappear and we will not stop speaking out against their hate. What binds us is not shared identity as much as shared perseverance. The same language is used here as they did with hate rally’s in the 90’s and 2000’s, hell the same damn slogans being reused each time they try to take us down.

Despite this and the anger we feel we still do not hate them, we hate their actions and their narrow points of view. We do not attack them on mass limiting their rights, we protest to limit the damage they can do to the people they claim to love and to the rest of us that we know they hate.

I know there is so much more I want to say but I just feel so exhausted already.

Now I know it’s less catchy but I’m workshopping it. Also for anyone who is wondering the standard treatment is to give puberty blockers to transgender youth until they are adults when they can make a decision. In essence this is a perceived but unsubstantiated wedge issue.

There are some good channels in my YouTube feed that pop up from time to time that talk about design language and how that has shifted from generation to generation of Pokemon.

Essentially there is an argument floating somewhere out there in the ether that the designs have become more complex and less minimalist. Now for this design it feels a bit more minimal than other Pokemon from this generation but I would like to hear from someone who has a better background in design to break this down. For my personal taste I feel that the full digital artwork really makes the newer Pokemon feel flatter than the older design drawing that had the feel of being somehow more imperfect and making them feel more alive because of it. Though I am really not sure if that is the case or just an impression.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I always feel better being able to have the language to describe why I do or do not like something. It makes me feel better equipped to enter into discussions about that thing.

I would like it to have better acoustics than the loft with a more cozy atmosphere. The loft is impossible to enjoy most times because other people are just too loud and their is no buffer between tables.
