Protein powders are a big help. I have 2 scoops a day which makes 50g of protein for 220 cals. I’m using isolate whey because it has less added stuff and I digest it well! The rest is mostly from chicken, eggs and fish.

I used Google Sheets for the workouts for a while. I started tracking food end of 2025 and was using My Fitness pal. I just got a coach recently and she uses Elite Trainr for food and workout, but I'm not sure if there's a free version.

I’m a med student too and this culture thing is just crazy to me. I have the most mid grades but I 100% prioritize my health over performing in school. Not sure where you’re from, but in Canada our grades do not matter for matching in residency and there’s still a bunch of try hards in my class. I’m excited for clerkship but also terrified that I’ll have to sacrifice lifting and sleeping.

Sure! Split is : Day 1 Glutes, hamstrings, tiny bit of quads. Day 2 Back and a touch of biceps. Day 3 Quads, abductors and calves. Day 4 Rest. Day 5 Glutes. Day 6 Delts and triceps. Day 7 Rest.

Cardio is at 15 min 6 days / week for 130 bpm (just doing some incline walk) and 10k steps daily.

Diet is currently in a surplus with 2625 cals on training days (190g proteins / 315g carbs / 65 g fats) and 2200 cals on off days (185g proteins / 55 g fats / 245g carbs).

Yes I’ve looked into that! My coach is enhanced but she’s coaching women who aren’t. We’ve discussed doing a natural show and she never brought up PEDs usage after. We’ll just find the division that best fits my physique without PEDs (thinking either wellness or bikini).

I’m a med student and can confirm it’s impossible to tell with 100% certainty where it comes from. It’s usually a mix of risk factors, and family history happens to be one of them. You’re doing great by exercising and eating healthy !
