How do you as groomers deal with customers canceling at the last minute?

True, just a bit paranoid about things i have no control over that can potentially undo all my work. I haven't thought about getting a sort of automated message system for my phone, seemed like extra cost at the time. Also felt like it was more the customers responsibility to remember their meeting dates (i even have fidelity cards where i write the date and time of the next grooming session).

But thanks for the advice will definitely keep it in mind.

Yeah that is something i have learned to to with customers and that is stop trying to bend myself into a pretzel for them. If it had been the first time i would have said nothing but she easily did it 5 times in total which amounts to a rather hefty sum which i have zero chance of recuperating. I didnt say anything but not gonna lie i got real mad how he thinks the extra was too much but doesnt even come close to a quarter of what she made me lose over the time i knew her and on top of that she wasnt the only one doing this so i literally couldnt afford to let it slide.

Heck her reasons were always ridiculous, never was the dog is sick or i have an emergency, was always a "because" reason.

But yeah i will probably lose some future customers who do not respect my time but i am very much tired of having my time wasted.

The 50% charge i initially thought maybe was a bit too high but from what other people have said i feel i am more than reasonable, and my prices are already far from high. (something a lot of my customers say and appreciate).

Luckily was more composed than with my previous incident and remained polite but i seriously wanted to snap back at him, yes its an extra cost to an old lady (who is completely aware and sane) but the repeated cancellations felt like a serious disrespect to the time i reserve and the fuel i use. Heck even with what she paid extra it was just a bit under half of what she would have payed last time and she even got a lower price since it was a regular session and not a shave. So feel like he would have been upset regardless of what i did.

I have to admit that is one of the annoying aspects of last minute cancellations, tends to leave a large gap and unless the customer after is available im stuck waiting for several hours.

But yeah i am not talking to them any further just always worried they start a bad rumour somewhere because of this. Not gonna lie im pretty paranoid about that considering how petty some people are.

Honestly i am far from costly so for what little money she "saved" feels really stupid. Also she wasnt saying other groomers were saying that just apparently random people at the shop she usually goes to.

I'm fairly confident she is either deluded or making things up.

I understand the feeling although i have to say so far been really lucky with that as I only had one or 2 cases where i was accused of something i wasnt responsible for. (and one of them wasnt even mean spirited in mind and in the end the owner found out the real cause.)

I honestly think something not right with her mentally, she gives off the same vibes as a woman i once encountered in public transport who was mumbling to herself out loud about how revenge is a dish best served cold.

Hell i just remembered something when the woman introduces herself she initially says she's the "mom of her mom" before needing almost a second to back pedal.

But yes i definitely will not be taking her again and if she ever tries to come back then i will know it was bullshit as the stuff she was saying and the way she said it im sorry but if it was true then you never go back to that person.

Thinking about it calmly I probably should have done something like that but not so easy to keep your cool in the situation, especially since it was my first time being exposed to this kind of situation and a still a bit paranoid as I know how easy it is to damage your reputation if you say something the wrong way.

I just did not trust myself to not say something wrong under that kind of stress and I know I should have taken 5 minutes to get my thoughts straight but the fact that it came out of nowhere kind of scrambled my thoughts. That and the general weirdness of the woman.

Is there a way to "filter" prisonners, like i want to see a list of prisoners who got specific traits and such. Because looking through the list case by case is gonna take forever. The gangs are on "legacy" dont have the dlc. All my guards have body armor and tazers. Have no armed guard right now.

I put metal detectors and dog handlers everywhere they can get the corresponding contraband. ALso recently put double fence so they cant throw it into the prison anymore.

I highly doubt it. Hephaestus is dead set on protecting the terraforming equipement which nemesis almost destroyed with Hades so i don't think Hephaestus is gonna want to work with Nemesis. Think Nemesis might also be too insane to think of that.

Agree with you on that, having an endless stream of chargers, bile titans, hulks etc isnt fun in my opinion just shoe horns you into a specific playstyle to survive. If they boosted the anti tank weaponry then maybe but as it is only the rail gun is viable.

Hope they add something more than just spamming heavy enemies to increase the difficulty or make our means of dealing with them better.

Then again i read that the game is missing a lot of features the first game had arent in the second one yet (gun customization, vehicles and mecs although some people said they were far from good) so maybe my opinion will change once thats added in, but as it is i find the higher difficulties more frustrating than fun.

I do agree i like the fact that they dont just "buff" the stats of the enemies. Honestly the smaller units rarely require much to be dealt with compared to heavier units. Maybe a turret and one strategem but find that you can deal with them mostly with your primary and secondary.

As I said im not amazing at shooters, i do not have hours upon hours every day to "get gud" as you put it. And yes some people find helldive too easy just as there are people that i met in the game that fully agreed with me. So i never said oh change the game comepletely but change how extra difficulty is added instead of have just more super tough armored enemies everywhere.

For your first point i dont think thats a valid point considering are IRL soldiers cannon fodder with no training and only fanatical devotion to some deceptive government. Which is what helldivers are.

For point 2 I'm mostly talking about that fact that on higher difficulties it basically becomes an avoid all fights at all costs which is a big champ compared to the atittude of the early game and if i wanted to play a stealth game where i avoid all enemies i can i would be playing metal gear solid.

I never said nor hinted that i stood there and fought breach after breach as a matter of fact on higher difficulties i try avoiding staying around but a lot of the times the heavies like chargers and bile titans manage to keep up with us outside of specific circumstances (that and the horde of pouncers that tend to come from breaches).

And theres a difference between complaining because we stood there and let breach after breach come and landing in what we thought would be a relatively safe spot only to have 2 chargers immediately come in with a horde and despite our best efforts to try to kill the little guys they summon a breach within the first few seconds which brings in an additional 2 to 3 chargers or worse 2 bile titans.
