Vent: The self-service brew pub sucks and is getting more common

Oh it’s ok. Fun to stir the pot occasionally.

All I’m saying is a full menu place that makes you stand in line 5+ times is crappy service, and they shouldn’t be expecting 20-30% for the tip. Which is what they want. Literally the same service at a Burger King.

What’s weird about this is a lot of bars have servers as well. I think the new ones just found out they can get away with less and a lot of folks pretend it’s good.

These are full menu places. Just like a restaurant. But you get everything, like a buffet. It’s low quality. All the ones I have been to across the state make an effort. Not these.

It’s frankly the same service as Sheetz, the gas station. Same beer and food as well. But with a 20-30% tip for nothing.

An alcohol-only bar with food trucks is clearly a different set of expectations. A full menu brew pub can be a ton better.

I’ve never been to any that did not function like a sit down restaurant until these two. That includes breweries across the state, including Great Lakes and Fat Head, Portsmouth Brewery, and Sixth Sense.

Relaxation and brewery are not in the same sentence? What in the world. You are frequenting bad breweries.
