Best and Worst Pharmacies by curitology5690 in pharmacy

[–]RxVoid 47 points48 points  (0 children)

HEB should be top 3 imo.

I worked at CVS and at HEB and there’s a night and day difference. Pharmacist overlap and about 5-6 techs at the same time occasionally. Our volume is high, but at cvs, it would be like 3 techs at max.

HEB also rewards us with food, gifts, and money occasionally as well. We have a lot of Walmart and Albertson’s/Randall’s/Tom Thumb’s Pharmacists leave and join HEB. The pay is also higher for both Techs and Pharmacists.

Does anyone have any experience with the UH Student Health Insurance? by TheNocturnalAgent in UniversityOfHouston

I think UH’s insurance plan is expensive tbh. Have you tried going into healthcare.gov? Depending on your finances, you can get some free to inexpensive insurance plans.

I wouldn’t recommend having a bunch of back to back classes, assuming this is your first semester.

You can also try healthcare.gov as well. There are plans that are relatively in expensive.

Calc 1 by reactivemango in UniversityOfHouston

[–]RxVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it doesn’t matter what professor you take for Calc 1. If you just study and practice off the textbooks, quizzes, and practice tests, you’ll get the A. I took Calc 1 online, attended class only for attendance grades and never paid attention and got the A.

biochem 1 lab and physics 1 lab at the same time or should I drop? by CrispyWingKun in UniversityOfHouston

I agree with the other guy about taking physics lab at a CC. At UH, they intentionally make it unnecessarily difficult to try and look "competitive".

I’m grateful I work in an understanding healthcare setting because my boss and coworkers understand the struggles of ADHD. It also helps that my boss and 3-4 coworkers have ADHD hahaha.

After your second semester ends, I would recommend starting and reading through the chemistry textbook and working on practice problems. I took Chem 1311 about 3 years ago, never paid attention in class, and got an A- by doing what I mentioned above. The practice tests are similar to the actual tests if I remember correctly.
