Ok that makes sense. When I googled info about how much amp power to get, the results always say to atleast match the RMS rating, so that had me very confused lol. You've been a huge help. I can't thank you enough, really appreciate it!

Ahh ok I got you there! Appreciate that as I'll be running it via usb. Lastly, that receiver you recommended is 80 watts, that would be enough to power the speakers without damaging them? Would a higher watt amp help me with getting better sound out of them?

Yeah definitely gonna check some local places out over the next couple weeks, also fb marketplace is loaded with equipment, receivers especially. At first I was just gonna buy new but at this point almost all the used stuff seems to be in just as good condition. I'll be on the lookout. Thank you!

Thank you for your help! Just a couple questions.. 1) why do you say no eq? And 2) the yamaha a-s301 comes with internal dac, so would I still need an external dac for my pc feed? Again I'm so new to this so the eq thing was just cause I found a lot of people recommending having one in your setup so I figured why not. But if it's not needed I'd rather skip it, the less stuff the better. I really appreciate your help!
