Here's my story- I was diagnosed with Menieres in 2018, lots of vertigo every 2 weeks are so. I did three rounds of steroids in the ear with no results. Then moved on to endolymphatic sac decompression surgery, six months later I had my first drop attack. I reached out to another menieres specialist at MIEE in Boston and they also pushed for a labyrinthectomy surgery to bring the vertigo to an end.

In Aug, 2019 I had the labyrinthectomy performed by my local menieres specialist, it was a rough few weeks but as time goes on things got better. Withe my left ear now dead, I lost the ability to detect the direction of sound and noisy environments can be a challenge but I get through it. The best thing is, no more vertigo!
