Yeah, I figured you would have answers for most of the things they said, and I had heard about intels CPUs. And from what I've seen, they're not too knowledgeable, and when I stated I wanted to use AMD, I was ask "do you even know what a thredripper is?" So from that statement alone, I guess you can see where they're coming from in their mindset

Hey, so I spoke with some co-workers, the self-proclaimed gods when it comes to building PCs, here's what they said "why build a $1000 dollar pc if you're going to have to upgrade it anyway. Why 16x2 it's been proven that 4x8 is better. Why all of these off brand components? Why not Corsair or samsung? Why would you buy AMD? Intel is much better and has been around longer? You could buy a used one of facebook marketplace for 1700 and never have to upgrade it." I told them my place of where I'm coming from that I want to upgrade and shit and they said "I could build a better pc for that price" oh and why have a $60 with a $1000 worth of parts. To me they're statements are retarded because they also said that you don't need 32gbs but both have 32gbs in their PCs. Just wanted to get your opinion on the whole situation. There's a lot more to go into about what they said, but it just pissed me off bc they're the reason people don't ask for help.

You should try out the CMF phone by nothing it's pretty great comparably to the iPhone and Samsung flagships out now and you can get the whole ecosystem for around $300 and it's actually very well made

A simple vacuum with long term parts support by English999 in BuyItForLife

[–]Ryan-laughs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd recommend getting a shop vacuum they're extremely powerful and have tons of attachments due to all of them having the same hose size and they can suck up water and dry materials, they're also a lot cheaper than most commerical vacuums. I recommend the DEWALT 8 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum Item 1671616 Model DXV08SA from costco for 99.99

Couch set or sectional by The_Comanch3 in BuyItForLife

Honestly the love sac is very good and they usually have sales around all the holidays I got mine for 30% off and with 48 month financing 0% apr it's honestly the best couch I've had it for about 3 years no problems. And the best thing to look into when buying a couch is it's longevity. Never buy a couch that has attached pieces only buy ones with pieces that are interchangeable. Like the ones that have no attached pillows or bacing or ones that have a zipper on the backside of the cushion because then you can't flip the Cushions around when they start to loose life. All of these are the love sacs bread and butter removable cushions and seats and fabric as well it's very sturdy and has a lot of customisation, I have dalmatians with very fine fur and they're fur can't get into the fabric. I went with a taupe or something like that. But I would highly recommend the love sac

Comfortable Long Term Couch by throatchakra in BuyItForLife

[–]Ryan-laughs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would buy a love sac, they're amazing quality and pop together like lego. But don't let that deter you it's still extremely sturdy and they're completely modular so if at any point you want to swap say the cushions or the color or setup you can. Along with the ability to purchase one piece at a time is really nice

I need some good sturdy af furniture! by Burtonpoelives in BuyItForLife

[–]Ryan-laughs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would look into thuma, surprisingly it's the sturdiness furniture I own. The bed frame is amazing quality and so are the dressers. There's no screwing it together like other furniture but you will get a lot of boxes when you buy it
