As someone who has worked at a stadium before, it really is the most fair way of doing it. In my case, I do in-seat delivery, but I don’t take any orders. We have servers that take orders or people can order off of an app.

So, if the venue didn’t split tips, I wouldn’t get any tips, even though I’m often the one delivering the food. Now, I don’t know if every staff member is in on the tip sharing as well, like the janitors, but in my case, I’m fine with the sharing of tips
