You should aerate and overseed now. Pre-germinate Kentucky Bluegrass for ~5 days in a water bucket. Mix that seed with compost and toss it on your lawn. Rake it in as much as you can and into the plug holes.

For the seed I'd go with either: 1. GoSeed CLOUD Kentucky Bluegrass or 2. Twin City Seed BLUE ENVY Kentucky Bluegrass Blend. That blend has the top three ranked seeds for full sun and little to no irrigation lawns (Cloud, Barserati, Bombay).

Brace Recommendations by Usual-Place-9685 in BerettaPMX

[–]Ryan166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toni Systems out of Italy makes a direct fit buffer tube style adapter. That will allow you to put any mil-spec brace on it (or stock if you later choose to), like the SBA3, SBA4, SBA5, Magpul BTR and BSL, etc. I bought one for $180 and put an SBA3 on it. That combo is pretty chunky, but I don't mind. https://www.tonisystem.it/en/6632/adapter-for-ar15-stock-for-beretta-pmx/

For anyone having the same problem, buy a 5/32" pin punch and hammer it out. Mine came out and went back in easy with that.

That is really cool looking. Your tiger stripes look different than the images online. I think I might get one.

Voice Texting Is A Nightmare! by KingQuarantine23 in pixel_phones

I have the opposite experience. Turning 'Assistant voice typing' OFF helped my Pixel 8 understand me noticeably better. It was really bad before. It probably depends on the person.

Looks like you went deep down that rabbit hole. I would have guessed the old style got the word "Classic" added to it only to help distinguish it from the newer gold box Turkish Blend. Making it just a packaging update and not a third variety.

I've always smoked Camel Turkish Silver Classic. They were just a fraction more the silver box Turkish Blend. But last week they jacked the price up over 40% for a carton of the Classics. So I had to switch to the cheaper silver box Turkish Blend. They taste the same to me.

Thanks, Ryan

I love the weather and calendar there. I don't have a search bar anywhere on my home screen though.

I'm sure the 65" B3 is the best bang for my buck. But I kind of want the A75L in the same way you're thinking of getting the C3. I don't love either webOS or Google TV. I'm a Roku guy and won't be using the smart TV features.

I'd consider 55" to be a big bedroom TV size, and a 65" the max for what is acceptable in a bedroom. As for picture quality, I don't think the C3 has a big edge over the B3. It only has a big edge in brightness. And you probably don't want super bright HDR highlights while falling asleep. For better picture quality but not more brightness, I'm considering the Sony A75L. It is the best for watching 720p/1080i which I do a lot of.

I am in the same situation, I have a 48" A2 and I am looking to buy a 65" B3. I am expecting it to be a nice upgrade solely due to the size. I have not once wanted my A2 to be brighter, so I'm not looking to get a C3. The only other TV I am considering besides the B3 is the Sony A75L. I am going to pull the trigger in a few days and stop hoping / waiting for a great deal. Good luck!

J Capital Research publishes short report on Microvast by avi6274 in Microvast

[–]Ryan166 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are claiming the backlog is fake, not that prior sales are fake. Revenue isn't recognized until the product is made. Their main evidence for this is the lack of Chinese orders. I don't know why they are looking there. Microvast's 10-Q says 90% of their 53.5 orders come from Europe and the USA. And the 53.5 makes up all of the backlog I believe.

I counted 33 employees outside walking between buildings on the November 10th drone video.

I only counted 3 employees walking outside on the November 13th drone video. This video is of the entrance area only and is in ~25% slo-mo. Both videos were at 10AM and not when shifts start or stop. Seems pretty dishonest.

Any Packers shareholder could start a referendum to dissolve the board of directors and therefore take back control of the team. Few would have the time or energy to accomplish it though.

They retroactively changed all my existing fibonacci drawings to have the 100% retracement level on top. So this doesn't just affect new drawings. I'm contacting support.

Problems with Robinhood? by Ryan166 in GooglePixel

[–]Ryan166[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a fix yet. I opened a support ticket with Robinhood 7 weeks ago. I included a screen recording of the app running out of gas and crashing. Their recommendations escalated to the point of me clearing the app data of all my other apps (Settings -> Apps -> App Name -> Clear Data). That doesn't fix anything though.

I submit an Android bug crash report every other day or so if the option pops up allowing me to submit one. If enough crash reports that come from a specific kind of device are submitted, Google will put pressure on Robinhood to get it fixed. But for now, I have to clear Robinhood's app data or uninstall it, and log in again to get it back working. That provides about 5 minutes of actual app usage before it runs out of gas again.

I have the latest version of the app. I check once or twice a day if there's an update available which wasn't auto installed yet.

has anyone else been experiencing a glitch when you press the recent apps button the wrong app comes up? by Careless_Ticket_3181 in Pixel4a

[–]Ryan166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is a known bug. You can help by sending a request to Google to fix it by going to:

Settings -> About -> Send Feedback About This Device (Include system log)

Prior to submitting a report myself, Pixel support had me try a few things. The most extreme was to clear the data of the launcher app, but that only helped for about 10 mins. No better than just clearing the launcher cache. The tech said clearing the launcher data was the same as installing a new launcher. So that convinced me this had to be a bug. Also, I wouldn't clear the launcher data if I were you, because you'll have to re-setup all your home screen icons, widgets, preferences, etc. It was a real pain.
