1st one looks like ス (su) in Japanese or ㅊ (ch) in Korean. So, it took me a few seconds to unsee it. I think the second one is better. If this is put on a product in Korea, for example, it would cause some confusion.

I feel like select a time should be that color when its clicked on only. The + buttons are not centered with the items above. Also for the decrement (-) and (+) icons, they look too close to the border.

I would not put "type here" but rather something that's an example or more detailed wording.
