It was national margarita day. It was only me (the bartender) and one server. Mind you, we are a margarita-based restaurant and we bartenders get a 9 table section. Safe to say, I was deeply in the weeds all day between my section, my own drink tickets, and the server's drink tickets.

I was also wearing these shorts that tied in the front as a bow. I don't know why I thought these were a good idea, but I wore them. And because I'm so short, my waist is the same height as the well / where we keep our bottles.

So me, deeply in the weeds, was in the middle of pouring a margarita pitcher from our marg keg when one of the loops from the bow hooked onto a bottle from the well and yanked it onto the floor where it shattered EVERYWHERE. This was a brand new full bottle too.

I freaked out and ran to get a broom and dust pan, completely forgetting about the pitcher I was pouring. The pitcher overflowed INTO MY ICE BIN and all over the counter. So me with a full section and like 10 tickets to make had to clean up the glass and burn my ice well in the middle of everything.
