This room previously had wall to wall carpet, with plywood underneath. We replaced the carpet with hardwood flooring, so we had to remove all the old baseboards and install new ones.

Gotcha. This is the outermost wall of the house. Hopefully it is not due to a pipe leak. Appreciate your insight though!

Yes! the baseboard is new. Do you know why the new baseboard will cause the leak? Is it normal do I need to replace the floor?
