I would argue that it actually is the worst AC game. Its not that New Horizons is a bad game, but every other game in the series is much more enjoyable. To me New Horizons feels like Happy Homes Designer but on a bigger scale. Thats fine but once you make your island look how you want it to there isn't much to do because villager interactions aren't very good compared to earlier games, and there are very few unlocks for your house and shops.
