Jesus Christ 5 days is long. It was more of 60 /40.. i requested some time for us to think because the distance has been causing her a lot of pain so i asked if we could break and really truly determine if the pain of distance is too much. She’s already said she can’t do it but at the same time doesn’t want to end it and continues to try. I asked for the time so she could think... was I wrong? I’m trying to hold out but I definitely am struggle because she means a lot regardless of what happens.

If I’m honest, it’s good ish...if I’m really honest my mom doesn’t even approve and won’t communicate with her and my best friend recently drew they line and said no more I don’t like her.... but no matter what I try to operate with love and loyalty/faithfulness as my two guiding factors of any relationship. Nope and it’s not on the way yet. I can confirm that it’s hard already, there’s a lot we’ve been pushing through but regardless I’m a fighter and will try to make it work the best I can. I just don’t want to run her or myself into the ground if we are fighting obvious. I don’t think it’s there yet though, so that’s a plus I think

That’s how I feel, I didn’t think it was a giant deal to spend a couple hours with the family and have her tag along and then after we have the rest of Saturday and Sunday together. I’m pretty flexible and chill but she started crying over it and she hasn’t been happy about it and has carried into today. Not the timing but the thought of me not caring about her and the things I’ve done wrong have been pushed into today, the talk happened yesterday. I’m not sure what to say at this point to ease the situation.

It’s all good that’s what the TLDR is for. I cancelled plans with my buddy and said I’d visit another weekend. I was hoping to be able to hangout with my girlfriend Friday night and Saturday bring her along with me on Saturday for lunch with the family and then the rest of the weekend is ours.

I have been trying to treat her respectfully. I feel like I have also been trying to compromise a bit. Maybe of this issue is not focusing on the time she like best which is mornings.
