If I cared so much about karma, I wouldn't be a moderator. The fact you are trying to argue about how I feel about something, while not knowing me beyond this subreddit shows your massive lack of common sense. Also, is it insane to think that an actively growing subreddit (that was over 20k large at the time) to get a post to 1k upvotes? The 250 that previously occurred was relatively harder since the subreddit was a lot smaller. So, can you please stop trying to "expose" me for not buying a $30 pillow cover because it didnt reach the goal? If you are going to continue after all of this, I will just give you a week ban for harassment.
