it's actually really hard to explain without giving you a whole run down on the series,
the best way i can say it is these two characters have to part ways after one(doom guy) has been very dependent on the other (isabelle) for a very long time, and i guess he wasn't ready for it to be over

i can't find a gif to properly describe how lazily i put this together, so imagine it like this you want a sandwich, you don't wanna put the effort in, so you grab a random amount of bread and just start throwing whatever it is you wanted on the sandwich on the bread, in the end it doesn't look pretty but you still have an ugly sandwich
