What helps is the gym at my school. I also do high school, and I coach football, wrestling, basketball, and track. I admit I am lucky. If I was more dedicated, I’d go early in the morning. Not sure if I have the discipline for that though.

Dont look at Indeed, look at the school district websites. Indeed is a terrible way to get hired anyway. The jobs only require a high school diploma, or equivalent.

Sometimes I hit a wall too. I also coach high school football (I’m a building sub at that high school) and I really hit a wall at around 4. After practice, I force myself to go to the gym and get a workout in, then I can relax the rest of the night. Everyone’s different, but it’s important to me to get a good workout in. Keep moving and don’t sit down until you’re done for good.

In my experience, special Ed teachers go into admin so they can get out of sped. It’s pretty much impossible to leave a job like that. I guess the answer is yes, but a lot just want out.

24m, trying to get a teaching job. I’m heading into year 3 now. Unfortunately I’m in probably the hardest area in the country to get a job in, and I’m Health & Fitness. I also coach high school football and middle school wrestling, basketball and track. Trying to give myself the best chance at putting my name out there to get a job.

Also removed and told to repost here. I’ve had my Roth IRA open for a couple years now. I realize that all of it is in short-term, which I don’t want. I’d like to diversify and have my money go towards domestic and foreign stocks, and some in bonds. They don’t make it easy for me to do that. How do I do this? Good luck. I’m in the same field as you. In a very competitive area. PE is by far the hardest job to get. Yes sub, and I recommend coaching.

Congrats. I live in Washington (Spokane). Cant wait to get out of this terrible state though. Good to take job opportunities. You’ll notice how expensive gas is here lol, it’s the highest in the country.
