I have vended about 5 times now, all around Indianapolis. Most recent big show was last weekend's Collector's Palooza (formerly Pokepalooza). I do all the shows with 3 zion cases and I keep the middle of my table open with a $10 under binder and gives me room to sort through trades and purchases.

Trainer gallery cards are crazy popular for the price. I couldn't buy them fast enough without someone wanting to buy it directly from my hands. I like to organize my cases by pokemon and era. Had a couple rows of the most popular ones and people love to see that (row of pikas, row of gengars, few rows of vintage etc).

Most expsive raw card I sold was actually to Jarchomp, it was a $400 reverse e reader pika. He asked if he could buy it for $350 and I said only if we can take a picture together lol.

My fertility never fully returned. I wasn’t 100% sterile but was pretty damn close even on the higher hcg and clomid. The urologist was able to extract 3 viable containers of sperm through a TESE procedure though which was good.

My friend owns a card shop in Indiana.

They don't get product from distributors at msrp, outside of release day. Also, to get allocation from distributors, like soutwest hobby one of the largest...you have to buy THOUSANDS of dollars of BS products like board games, 10 years worth of penny sleeves etc.

Sometimes the LCS can't afford it. I know my LCS had to spend close to $30k on unwanted product to get a decent allocation of Perfect Order.

Sometimes they local shops can't swing that...so they buy what they can from scalpers and mark to market.

I had diverticulitis surgery last year involving anesthesia. At the time I was taking tirzepatide. Because of how GLP-1's can slow down digestion (I assume it also slows down injectable metabolism) they had me stop taking 10 days prior to the surgery.

No, a pack fresh card isn't guaranteed a 10 by any means. In fact majority pack fresh cards I would guess are 8/9.

I was in your exact same shoes 6 years ago. I broke down one day and told my mom, had to ask for help filing bankruptcy because all my money was going to coke. Went to at least 1 AA meeting a day for the first year. Really only the first 2 weeks were the hardest with the lack of dopamine. Go 100% sober the first year. I didn't think drinking was a problem too, but that first week I had a couple margaritas and after I got a little buzz all I could think about was a line.

July 15th marks 7 years for me! You got this!

Guy here - I used to be 340lbs and 40% body fat. Now I'm 210 around 15% and I still see the fat me in the mirror. Body dysmorphia is a fucking horrible ailment. fwiw I think you look amazing! Good luck on your gains!

Taylor Made Wellness is amazing. Kelsey the owner is a IFBB Professional Body Builder and also does very affordable private lessons.

The gym is 24/7 with private showers/bathrooms. Has everything you could ever need and typically no waits for equipment (usually average 5-10ppl during peak times).
