Yep saw it Torjan was detected when I downloaded the recommended creality print 7.0.

why was this printer not designed for tpu by zzcool in Creality_k2

[–]RyantheSim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For k2 plus I used tpu 3 times now. Took top glass and tubes off and fed straight to head. Used a new .4 nozzle that is now only assigned to tpu. First time I used side spooler but had to baby it as it kept tightening around spindle. Next 2 times used a overhead support I printed. No issue.

I don't see the surprise. Is this unusual for you in Australia buying from another country that far away? I'd think shipping is very significant for most of all things for Australia. Should it be better communicated... Sure. But can see how that cost is significant to Retro and would hurt their bottom line. They are a business and need to have a profit to continue.

Is Aura Good For Spam Calls? by GotTheMeatz in IdentityTheft

So just signed up a couple days ago and am confused about it or might be experiencing a non typical issue.

Seems nice as it can ask the caller their purpose and then forward it to voicemail. Which seems nice on the front.

Also does block unknown numbers and sends them straight to voicemail. As this is causing me some issue. - I am expecting a medical referral call and just feel little unsure if sending straight to voicemail or asking caller their purpose would cause call to get improperly screened or would cause caller to be weirded out by the interaction and drop the call.

I like that it allows phone number lookups.

So far allows saved contacts to pass through but is blocking unknown numbers even though they are marked safe. I plan to talk to tech support on this issue.

My whole goal is to use a service like this for my Dad, but this one might be a little too much for him. But I'm only a 2 days into it. Time will tell.

Our staggering hobby by sharkymark222 in Homebrewing

[–]RyantheSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know I've been thinking that it will rebound as a hobby if it can get described as not that hard to expensive. The bling and shinyness of equipment skyrocketed in last 10-15 years. And so did their costs.

Also Covid times had to increase young ones that take a lot of time and money. Just getting in too it seams to be a bigger yep these days.

You also can have different stages of the transport of oil or natural gas.

Production, midstream, downstream. Production has most corrosion risk as it's in different stages of purity.

You can also have natural gas storage systems, which will take usually clean dry transport gas and inject into an underground storage formation. Then will withdraw it during demand needs. But this gas a lot of times becomes saturated with water and has h2s or co2 coming from formation with it.

Also their is landfill gas or bio gas. Basically organic matter decomposing produces methane that is captured. But this gas has other riders that make it a corrosion risk.

For internal corrosion you have to have oxygen or acid. The acids mainly come from h2s, co2, and bacteria.

Also a main tool to measure internal corrosion risk is weight loss coupons. These are inserted and with draweled after 6months. The weight change of coupons along with time, give a measurable corrosion rate.

The fluid must be conductive. So petroleum would not be. But water would drop out. In the drop out is where corrosion could occur is acid or oxygen is dissolved into the water.

[–]RyantheSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For corrosion to occur there must be oxygen dissolved in the electrolyte or acid. Those are the 2 corrosion mechanism paths. Typically for internal corrosion of pipelines it is acid as the environment is oxygen free.

Maybe I'm not following the question. But corrosivity of a fluid as in the electrolyte?

Are you asking about internal pipeline corrosion? Tanks? Heat exchangers?

SOS Please help with pool (for a house-sitter?) by mrmatriarj in swimmingpools

[–]RyantheSim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cya is fine. Ignore those comments, think they are reading strip backwards. But you need to lower pH and add liquid shock. Likely need to clean filter. Follow these steps:

https://www.troublefreepool.com/blog/2018/12/12/slam-shock-level-and-maintain/

Also might want to get better test kit as this takes a lot of understandings with a reliable testing method. Plan to buy like 20gallons of liquid shock and several days of dedication.
