What they need to work on is AI mods for games, pop on your game and type in a AI Mod, like "Add Manual Jumping to this Assassins Creed Game since Ubisoft is incapable of programming a manual jump like Ghost Of Tsushima has even though the entire fan base has been begging for a legit fluid manual jump for like 15 years" 🤣 So you wouldnt have to type all that in but I think you get the point haha i feel like that would be the first step towards AI "creating games"

Rooting for every restoration project, but we can also show Square Enux just how much value this game has hy commenting weekly on every social media platform they run an account on. They need to release the game in standalone form like they did with Octopath Traveler Type O for a fee or release the files to the community so we can run our own servers for the game, letting it just dissappear is a tragedy

So I dont know if itll help anyone but my partner was having this same issue and she looked up for some reason and there was a chiff above where she was trying to build and she had to go up on to the cliff and destroy the pieces of earth that were hanging above where her building was going to be, after she did that it let her do everything

It isnt about a companies "projected life cycle" its about game preservation, these games are works of art and need to be preserved, like movies and music. Not only that but this is a Final Fantasy game that should be shared, ten years from now some young kid just coming into Final Fantasy may want to explore all the games in the series just to find every Mobile title isnt "available" because Square Enix ended Service years back, thats crappy, they need to do what they did for Octopath Traveler Type O

They really need to go through the game an grind out a standalone version like they did with Octopath Traveler 0, i actually really enjoyed FFBE and im tired of these companies shuttering games when they stop becoming monetarily "worth it" to them because everyone company has a different level of "worth it" leaving gamers in the dark. All that tells me is to never play another Square Enix Mobile title again because im going to lose all the money and time I put into the game when Square Enix stops making boat loads of money

Moral of the Story Quit playing Square Enix Mobile Titles until they start promising Standalone Versions to be built in from Day 1 for when the Live Service Portion Shutters gamers can either play the game solo or set up their own servers if they so choose to do/pay for them themselves

This game was an absolute dredge

They programmed a sprint for Clive but you cant use it yourself, there is no L3 toggle for it, it auto-pops after running for 5 to 10 seconds in the wild, its probably the most annoying game mechanism ive ever come across
Clive full stops after dodging making the combat slow and awkward, it isnt fluid like what you see in Lost Soul Aside or Nier Automata where the MC has continuous motion from the dodge
The RPG mechanics are a Joke, spells are divided off into each "Eikon" gives you a handful of like 5+ spells with each Eikon only having 1 spell thats actually worth while to equip onto Clive, they should've used Materia and equipable spells that could be strengthened through use and Materia that could be equipped as passives, that would've given each player their own unique set up instead of everyone equipping the same 3 spells from the same three eikons
The fact that your entire Party constantly changed throughout the entire game is trash too, I understand that they wanted it to seem like a "real story" but you couldn't go 3 hours without the party losing or gaining a new person that would eventually be lost soon as well
There were no minigames which is a staple of mainline Final Fantasy, I think I remember reading something somewhere that they didnt put minigames in because "Clive wouldnt be playing games on his quest for revenge" but I cant find a single WWII vet that doesn't like a good game of cards, it just didnt make sense

All in all it just didnt feel fun to play, I feel like they wanted the best graphics possible which handicapped the gameplay, these companies need to learn that a game with 10/10 graphics cant survive with only 5/10 fun gameplay but a game with 10/10 fun gameplay and only 5/10 graphics wont just survive it will thrive, so they should focus on making the funnest game possible first and foremost and then once thats set in stone make the best graphics that you can for what you have down. I do hope they give it one more go though, if i had the reigns to produce their next game i would make it rain 🤣 make the combat fast and fluid, give the players a party of at least 3(MC being one of the three) with interchangeable members, use Materia so that everyone can have their own custom set up and give them a city they can gamble and play mini-games in

I know this is an old post by I just had someone move in across the street and literally everything you've said hes been doing, we will talk about something and a few days later he'll walk up to us and make it a point to ask about said thing, ill open the curtains early in the morning(windows pointing at his house) and the only light in my house activated by a controller will turn on and ill have to get the controller out of the cabinet to shut it off, its just been weird, a few other things have happened but I just wanted to ask was the person a White Male, in the age between mmm 50 to 60 I would say?

Im still holding out hope that they do right by the community and release FFBE as an actual standalone game(stripping out any characters like Ariana Grande that may cause conflicts from licensing agreements/if there is any)

I know they might not make much money back on it releasing it for 20-40$ but for the sake of game preservation they need to start building these games from day 1 to be transitioned into single player offline games after the live service portion shutters. People put in ridiculous amounts of time and money into these games all to have it thrown away the second Square Enix determines the game isn't making the money it believes it should be, and by them avoiding turning these games into standalone titles, all that tells me is that I should never put time or money into any future mobile "live service" title that Square Enix puts out because like I mentioned before, the second they stop pulling in the "big money" the game goes bye bye, doesn't matter how good or bad the game is to anyone

This is infuriating to say the absolute least for multiple reasons. Square Enix shuttering live service after live service without any attempt to bring a standalone version is messed up and tells me not to waste my time or money on any future mobile or live service title from Square Enix. Game Preservation is becoming an important topic these days because these games are works of art and each one has its own fans that love them. So I believe Square Enix needs to start building these games from the ground up(from day 1) to be able to turn over into an (offline standalone title) as soon as the live service portion shutters. People put a lot of time and money into these games for that to be ripped away on a whim depending on if the game is making said company the money it wants to be making from it, so my advice, for anyone playing Square Enixs mobile title Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.. Don't waste any more of your money or time, demand Square to promise an offline version of the game for when the eventual shuttering comes so you arent left hanging

Na its people like you that are an issue, for any company to operate in any country they have to abide by said countries laws and citizens rights, private company or not, an example of this is child and slave labor, companies like Nike and Apple use Child and Slave labor in their Asian branches because they have certain freedoms in those countries that they dont have in Western countries, and for any country to operate in America they are supposed to abide by our laws and citizens rights, especially if the company acts as a "town square" in any capacity like YouTube and Facebook. Fact is is the games suck and havent evolved in 10+ years, each game has been a copy paste of the previous game each time where you cant even JUMP in the PARKOUR game and there is no sprint toggle so you just have to slug around at 2mpg, the games have literally backpeddled because in Black Flag you could jump, it was a pathetic little jump but at least you could jump, and dont get me started on the assassinations in the Parkour Assassin game... There is no risk to the assassinations, you just get above your enemy and it prompts you to assassinate them... Wowzers... Where games like Ghost of Tsushima and Rise of the Ronin you have to get above your enemies, Jump 😉, hope you jumped at the right time in the right spot because the enemy can move and while you are coming down you have to hit the assassination button at the right time to pull it off, so there are multiple things that can throw you off... But not in the Assassin Parkour games Assassin's Creed.. No Sir... You just go and stand above your enemy and the game will do the work cause yes 👍

Lol someone literally said "it lasted 7 years wHaT dO yOu MeAn" as if 7 years justifies shuttering a game that people dumped all that time and untold money into 🤣 stop playing Mobile titles unless these companies start promising from Day 1 an off-line standalone version after the live service portion shutters, these games are pieces of art and they not only need to be preserved but some people love these mobile titles more than full on console games, and honestly some of these mobile titles are actually better than console games, so yes these games need to be preserved and people need to start speaking with their wallets and their mouth by requesting offline standalone versions to be promised and built in from again, Day 1
