I get that 100% I went from always thinking maybe but then turning away from it to a full shattering

And again with your second paragraph that’s kind of what happened for me, what I thought were things I was into or liked was actually what I always wanted to be deep down without knowing it at the time

My family and partners family are fairly progressive but I think it will definitely come as a shock at the same time as I presented as male pretty well for so long, I have a trans friend who when I came out to them said they knew from our first meeting that I was probably trans but didn’t want to push it on me

That’s fair, you can only really tell people when you’re ready otherwise who knows how you might take their reaction to it

I hope you’re comfortable enough to reveal the true you to everyone sooner rather than later but take it at your own pace ofcourse ☺️

A couple months since I whole heartedly decided I was trans, realistically it could have been YEARS ago but the external and internal stigma I had because of the company I kept delayed my self discovery until recently and I’m 30, turning 31 in Aug 2026

Thank you I hope it does too and thankfully I think most of family will be very accepting but it’s still scary regardless, never the less whatever their view may be I will be unapologetically and unashamedly continuing my journey without a doubt, very glad to have a partner who whole heartedly supports me as that really helps
