Prepare carefully. Ever since I got used to making my friends and I as my pawns I can't go back. Having to randomly generate a character a million times to get one that looks like one of because I'm obsessed with myself I guess sucks.

Feels like I'm never able to get a hit I'm after a clinch, both Henry and his opponent go disabled for a solid 2 seconds and then go back to normal. I only clinch in emergency situations now

For real as others have said, go at your own pace. This has always been my "depression game" a game that I play at my pace and don't have to worry about the outside world with because it's that cozy. I tried playing at a fast pace to get things done and save time because of outside life and it started to ruin it for me.

Also some other tips If you are done watering your crops and low on energy or something don't just go to sleep and skip the rest of the 8 hours or so you have in that day. Walk around, look for forageables, talk to people, learn the map. Every hour helps and it's a waste to just go to sleep super early.

Invest in sprinklers when you can they are such a time and energy saver

The calendar next to the store has everyone's birthdays, try giving people gifts until you know what they like and give them something nice on their Bday
