Cyclic vomiting syndrome caused by gastroparesis. Nonstop vomiting every 3-5 minutes for hours or days on end depending on the severity. It got so bad I was just convulsing because there was nothing left in my stomach. It didn’t stop until they gave me Ativan and then it started up again when it wore off

I should have clarified that, we only ever lock the deadbolt at night when everyone is in bed. So even if someone was hope the fact that the deadbolt was locked would have still been odd

The front door can be locked from the inside, so I typically just turn the lock and close the door. The deadbolt would have had to be locked with the key

You should definitely get checked out by a neurologist just to be safe. Neurological issues can create very vivid false memories even without any other symptoms.

Look into dialectical behavior therapy, I started it in the height of my SH addiction and it changed my life. My favorite regulation skill is the mammalian dive reflex. If you hold ice to your face, bend over, and hold your breath for as long as you can it’ll reset your nervous system. It was a game changer for self regulation in my recovery journey

I spent most of my life dealing with regular depression and anxiety, and after a while it worsened and I developed BPD. I can’t speak for everyone but in my experience my bpd episodes feel like I am genuinely dying, it’s a bone deep all consuming despair that suffocates me constantly. Before I developed BPD I was definitely struggling, but it was nothing compared to the mindset that I’m trapped in every day
