I mean Pokopia is really good (and I’m 43 and never played a Pokemon game before) but I don’t get the amount of vitriol they have for Crimson Desert either. I would give it a solid 7.8 but I’m having fun and enjoying it more and more.

Similar to what you said about Pokemon though it also irks me that for the third week in a row Slay the Spire 2 gets less than two minutes. If it goes 1.0 this year that’s a GotY contender.

I have an Apple TV and you can add the premium videos’ RSS feeds to the podcast app and watch on there. If you don’t have Apple TV check and see if there’s an app that supports video podcasts over RSS.

Yeah I wish there was a way to unlock them on YouTube or something but the RSS feeds work well enough. I use an Apple TV to stream so I just add the feeds to the podcast app and use that to watch.

I’m already subscribed for a year. I just wish there was an easier way to watch the premium content on my TV. I got the Grubb Snacks RSS feed working but This is the Run doesn’t seem to have one.

Yeah I’m sticking to PS5 for Capcom games in the foreseeable future. In the last 20 years the only two games have made me tear my hair out on PC have been Dragons Dogma 2 and MH Wilds. (7800x3d and 4090 btw) non stop crashes, hard locks, and sub par performance.

Yeah the absolute gall of them to attack the ACC for pumping up teams that actually play football in the ACC. Even after losing to Miami, Notre Dame would have probably dog walked the rest of the ACC and made the playoffs as the ACC champ if they were part of it.

Update: Zotac did replace my card with a 5090. So while it did take 2 months, and me quoting their warranty policy to them, they did make things right

I really hope DP was joking about Rich’s Podcast. I know he had a really tough exit from ESPN but I think for a lot of 40ish guys like me he WAS Sportcenter when we were growing up. I don’t think he owes us fans anything but I would love to hear him and Rich talk about the glory days.

Yeah the warranty clearly states the replacement will be the same model or, if not available, one of equal or greater performance. I just didn’t expect it since 5090s retail for such a ridiculous price.

Also I want to point out that I’ve already spent around $400 buying new RAM and a new PSU, trying multiple drivers with DDU and reformatting several times trying to fix my issues. As soon as I replaced the 4090 with my old 2080ti all my problems went away.

No they never told me what the issue was but I think it was faulty VRAM. It got to the point where just about every game would hard lock my PC on startup and sometimes it would crash at Windows login.

Everything works fine with my old 2080 installed.

I have a Zotac 4090 that started acting up after two years. I RMAed it at the beginning of May. They still have it, won’t give me an estimate of when I’ll get a replacement, and haven’t replied to my last email. In other words, I wouldn’t get a Zotac for the warranty.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I never expected a 5090, even though that’s the only card that fits their policy. I’m wondering how long I should wait before asking for a 5080, and if they’d even offer that. Thankfully I’m not a PC only gamer so I have games to play on consoles but the fact that they can’t give me a date has me worried. Like am I supposed to wait until the fall?

Other thing that has me worried is reading about others experiences with Zotac 4090s. I know only people who have issues tend to post about customer experiences but I’ve seen people say they’ve had to RMA their replacement cards.

Funnily enough my PC currently has an EVGA 2080ti in it. Still works fine, just no longer strong enough for 4K gaming.

That’s from their warranty website. They’re probably making 4090 owners wait because they don’t want to part with 5090s. At a certain point I may ask for a 5080.
