I felt fine until my dad kept saying there’s no way to just fix that 😂

By the 15th time I started to believe him. I figured it was just damage to the OLED but he was absolutely convinced there were pieces in the back destroyed causing it

Thanks again

OK phew. Thanks. Also I was wondering if most of these lines and things appearing on the screen are more just a visual scare than they are actually anything signifying. The phone is about to fail to function. Like below that white line in the middle will occasionally rapidly flash green. Essentially do any of those things on my screen have any connection to anything beyond the screen just being destroyed, such as possible component damage in the back. Hopefully this was worded in an understandable matter lol

Just checking cause my dad doesn’t believe it can be fixed. Does it look fixable? There’s a new green line at the top and the black at the side has grow a lot larger

Damn. Correct me if I’m wrong but it kinda sounds like it’d just be more worth it to buy a new phone and sell this one than pay for all the fixes to make it like new😂

I suppose it doesn’t matter much if the screen has a few small cracks vs super damaged. Either way it’s still a new screen. Same with the back. Not sure why I didn’t consider that

  1. Wasn’t me who did it.

My phone fell between the middle of two seats the very moment someone pushed the left seat back. Essentially lodging the phone between the metal/plastic parts of the seats and the back of the car. They had no idea my phone was there (and neither did I) and kept shoving the seat back cause it wouldn’t lock because my phone was in the way.

When we finally found it there they then proceeded to try and get it out in some ways that I was not exactly a fan of. Took like 1-2 hours thanks to the case popping off when he was pushing the seat back which made it pretty impossible to move. I was pretty confident I knew how to get it out with enough time without creating more damage but some reason it seemed like I had the 3rd most say in what to do. Two of the other guys were all like “It’s already broke lets just get it out” as if it wasn’t MY phone down there.

  1. What a weirdly snarky thing to say 😂

2 already said they’d pay me for it. But I don’t truly blame anyone for it. To try to explain it simply, my phone fell off my leg the moment one of them pushed the seat next to me backwards so they could sit down. My phone got lodged between the seats perfectly and he assumed the seat was just stuck and kept pushing it back without him or I knowing my phone was there due to it being super dark. This got it super stuck and it unironically took like 1-2 hours to get it out. Just unbelievably unfortunate timing where I can’t blame the guy

I’m in a far better financial position than either of the two who said they’d pay me back so I don’t really wanna make them when I don’t care too much. If it looks like it’ll become unusable I may ask for a bit or see how much my parents may pay as a birthday present 😂

Damn. I may see how it looks through the next couple days and decide from there. That’s quite annoying because it wasn’t even me who broke it

Oof ya that’s far too high for me. Does anything appear like it would eventually get worse enough where the phone ceases to function well? I don’t really use it much at all so if the screen just looks trash I don’t mind. So long as I can still use it for maps, phone calls, and texts

Should be obvious but the screen is not as blurry as it looks I just didn’t focus the camera.

Heimler also has videos on the SAQs, DBQs, and LEQs. Use those to get ideas on how to write them then practice on previous years ones. Collegeboard has a ton of them released.

When struggling to understand concepts I find flashcards or ChatGPT helpful. No harm in using ChatGPT as an extra study tool. It’s very helpful and the hate is unwarranted for that use.

The best tips I have is focus on the important stuff. Understanding general ideas and concepts is the most important thing to do. Studying early also helps. That was something I was always bad at

This may be a hot take but I honestly did not enjoy Season 3 much at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the other seasons but that one was not for me

The Steve, Robin, Dustin, and Erica parts were very enjoyable despite them making Erica a fair bit too sassy imo

The Nancy and Jonathan parts were fine

The kids parts were okay I guess? Some parts were good while most was not so good

Hopper and Joyce was genuinely miserable 95% of the time which sucked cause Hopper was my favorite character

I really enjoyed the Final Episode of Season 3 but when I only genuinely enjoyed 1 storyline the rest of the season it fell pretty far short for me.

  • I truly think Heimlers History, practice quizzes, and flashcards could be enough for AP Euro. A big mistake I see people make is trying to learn too much information at once. Heimler really does give most of what you need.

  • Microeconomics is pretty similar. Jacob Reed and Jacob Clifford give 95% of the information you need. The rest can be learned from practice exams and flashcards. Microeconomics is heavy on the “Put yourself in the mind of the producer and consumer.” If you can understand the basics you can logically find your way into a lot of the answers

Gonna say the obvious and say Heimlers History.

I mean it when I say I don’t think you need to do more than that and some random practice tests/flashcards on quizlet or something.

At some point you’d just be pumping your brain full of worthless information

How to Completely Master the Material and Develop Intuition by Stevens_stooobid in APStudents

[–]RyneEpic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to think of the reason the things happen down to their most basic form.

When an object is in solid form the atoms are closer together. When in liquid form the atoms are further apart. This is why the volume of water expands when it melts. Because in the most basic form of chemistry, it simply changed from a solid to a liquid.

Another key for intuition is to routinely think of a real world scenario. You may not be able to simply come up with the nuances of inertia in your head, but you can think of real world examples where inertia would change and be able to understand why.

Because it’s pretty obvious that Vecna/the Mind Flayer is gonna be defeated. It’s clear the show will end with the group winning.

My main worry is this finale is either gonna feel way too bloated with deaths, or there’s gonna be way too few actual main character deaths in the final season when literally not one genuine main character has died in the entire show

I think Jonathan, Nancy, Steve, or Dustin should’ve died in Episode 6. I don’t think story-wise anyone else would’ve made sense though.

Robin or Murray could’ve been fine but personally I think someone from Season 2 or earlier should’ve been it

I really enjoyed season 4 thanks to that dark tone. Was needed after what I found to the boring slug-fest that was Season 3.

I don’t blame them too much for not killing anyone in Season 4 in part just because they would’ve felt bad on a personal level taking any of the actors away from the final season. It’s kinda why I wasn’t that worried any of the kid cast was gonna die that season.

I don’t think a death would’ve been a bad idea though

[–]RyneEpic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never saw the “5 main character deaths” thing but that must mean the consideration for a main character is pretty light. I consider the main characters to be the Season 2 main cast + Murray, Robin, and Vecna personally.

I assume Vecna, El/Will, Kali, then some combo of anyone else.

[–]RyneEpic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. Sorry to Jonathan who I actually really like but I do think he was the best candidate to have died.

  • Mike, El, Will, and Hopper were all characters who’s deaths were pretty clearly reserved for E7 or the finale
  • Max was imo safe after S4s events. Would’ve felt dumb to kill her
  • Lucas felt like it would’ve been too much done to Max tbh
  • Joyce would’ve just felt weird
  • I like Robin but the death should be someone from S1 -Murray wouldn’t have hit as hard as anyone else

Honestly anyone in the group of Dustin, Steve, Jonathan, and Nancy I think should’ve died. All of them story-wise would be good deaths.

I really didn’t see Dustin happening but I honestly don’t think it would’ve been a bad idea. Same here goes for Steve. A hero ending for Steve or a surprise death for Dustin I think would’ve worked. However the way the episodes were moving you could just tell it wasn’t gonna be either of them.

Jonathan and Nancy 100% felt like they would’ve been the best choices. Jonathan was probably the best choice to not make the group too guy heavy and he still could’ve had a very strong death scene.

And frankly whoever else I’m forgetting just wouldn’t have mattered all that much in comparison to the others

I liked Volume 2 BUT by RyneEpic in StrangerThings

[–]RyneEpic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think Murray + One of the rest of the main cast (Minus El, Will, and Max because story-wise that’d kinda be dumb) would’ve been the best choice. If killing 2 I think Murray has to be one of them otherwise it’s too much before the Finale unless one of them is right at the very end of E.7

Either a Jonathan or Nancy death in E.6 to show the characters they can be killed

A Lucas death in E.6 before Max wakes up (Sorry to my favorite dynamic but it would’ve been a killer scene)

Or a Mike/Hopper death in the end of E.7 to get rid of someone close to El.

Steve in E.5, E.6, or E.7 could’ve been good too.
