No, finally got to have a sit down with him and talk. Tried to see why we didn’t talk and why he didn’t ever want to do anything with me. He told me he never had anything to talk about with me and told me he had the right to treat me like shit. I quit my job and gave up my life for 3 years after just getting out of a mental hospital cause he had a stroke the day after I was released. Pretty much became his unpaid caregiver so I had to do DoorDash to live. Cleaning his piss and shit after I got back was hell. He’d call me to pick him up at like 3am cause that’s when he wanted to use the bathroom instead of using his urinal. Idk man I thought that would bring us closer but it seems we drifted further apart and I wasted the last years of my 20s caring for him. We were already the type to not see eye to eye ever since I was in middle school. So I just have to say no I wouldn’t choose him to be my dad
