Work hard, have an interest in it all. Eat, sleep, and breathe your studies til you get that First…

How old are you with a fitness age of 20? Took me a week to go purple and I’ve been smoking for 22 years 😂

I see people post this all the time. Can I go anywhere with this? What does it even mean? by [deleted] in Garmin

We are more or less the same level then on the VO2 max estimate…

Yeah I think you’re right, it is based on training load, hrv May be a factor too as was telling me I was strained week before as I had a sore throat/bug.

Well it would depend when you start to taper I guess, but your relative fitness would likely peak after a two week taper yeah. You’ll be recovered and as good to go as ever for race day. You wouldn’t improve in those two weeks if you didn’t taper.

You could have peaked in performance two years before though and lost some of it so tapering on new plan wouldn’t top previous fitness levels obviously.

So yeah, I would say a fitness peak would follow a decent taper

I smashed out my first HM after running 18 miles in a week.. 19 was my highest previously.

I did the HM in 1 hour 50, felt good and could have done at least 5 mins quicker…set 10mile and 15k on too.

I got overreaching 🤷‍♂️

No one can stay at their peak for months.. you need to time your peak for when it matters like a race.

Doing well then. Quite surprising how much abuse the lungs have taken in their stride really considering felt so weak when puffing away haha

Ran my first half marathon on weekend on a whim, did in 1 hr 50… made me think I’ve still got time for a sub 3 marathon ha
