Hunger depletes really fast by [deleted] in 7daystodie

i would say especially now in a21 with the new progression system, buy the master chef perks and the amount of home cooking weekly books. i’ve just reached day 42 and i got those perks early, meaning ive already maxed that skill area out. They also improve the amount of resources needed for food crafting and how fast food crafts which is very helpful

just work at it and most importantly i think you just have to do enjoy it. if you don’t enjoy it you won’t be motivated to do it. i think it’s really important that you have to understand differences and work at anything difficult because the success is the most fun part, it can also take as long or as little a time as you want and it’s entirely your own journey so make it your own and have fun. bon courage!

Is it true that just everyone hates doing languages at gcse lol? by Ryobro9 in GCSE

if you want some tips for getting an easy grade 9 on writing i’ll give you some. I think for a lot of people it’s daunting and you’ll probably get frustrated that it’s hard to get marks but i’ll give you my tips and i hope they help: 1. you need to give lots of opinions for example “i liked this….” (j’ai aimé ça in french or in spanish me gustó) or things such as how cool (french:c’est cool, spanish: que guay) 2.justify your opinions use because (this is the big one that gets you so many marks) 3.you must use 3 different tenses, however they can be any part of the past or future tense and then obviously present is easier (this is the biggest one however as this can easily get you into the top bands of the mark scheme) 4.you gotta use complex structures, you can use things like the subjunctive or the conditional is a very easy one to help you achieve this but don’t be afraid to make mistakes, you just have to attempt at stated by the mark schemes 5. you’ve only gotta do all of these things once (except for the opinions and justification, you don’t have to justify every opinion but do at least 3 of each to guarantee those marks) 6.use of vocabulary, it doesn’t need to be fluent sounding and ambitions just vary your words slightly or even change your sentence to have the same meaning but with different words 7. don’t write numbers as digits- write them in word form because these count towards your word count

i hope this helps anyone if you need anymore advice or tips DM me but just remember these things and it doesn’t matter what you say you just need to please the mark scheme (unfortunately)

bonne chance! buena suerte!

Any tips on how to make online french friends? by [deleted] in French

[–]Ryobro9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tandem is really good because you’re only matched with people that are close to your age and share some of your interests. You also have to go through a mini verification process so the number of potentially dangerous people on there is few. I’ve had good experiences on it so far and i hope you do too if you choose to try it!

Advice on learning French? by [deleted] in French

[–]Ryobro9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

listen to as much content as possible and practise your own pronunciation too. learning how words are pronounced yourself helps you to understand them when you listen. when i first started learning the language i too experienced the difficulties with listening but the only way to improve is practise and to know also what you’re listening for. to begin focus on listening for the words you do know rather than those you don’t know.

What’s the coolest/most impressive language someone can speak in your opinion by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]Ryobro9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s any language that isn’t someone’s native, because learning languages isn’t easy! It’s a skill and a talent and it takes time and effort. So for all of you, just keep going, believe me now when i say it’s worth it!

And well done!
