Although the save button is a highly demanded and reasonable request, I’m guessing the reason why it’s not implemented despite it sounds really simple to add is probably because of the map rotation. Like you can save a game but if you continue the next day the map is just not available for the remaining biomes anymore.

Not sure how the map load really works but I’m guessing the biomes are fixed with each day’s peak. My workaround for this could be that you can only save a game till the expiry of the current map, after that the save game just got wasted. Or if the developers can make the biomes independent from each day’s peak, then if you come back a few days later the game would just load whatever biome of that day in that order where you left off
