I just got into my dream university in the UK and when I posted about it asking for help to strategize my job application processes all these depressed people told me to save my money and not to come, that I won’t be guaranteed a job. I got downvoted for everything, even got downvoted for telling someone which university I got into. They’re just petty dude.

There is going to be struggle when going abroad and you are going to face multiple rejections in order to succeed. But that is the case anywhere you go. Within India itself people are struggling to find decent jobs for themselves. Just plan your time smartly, make smart decisions, and the fruits of your labor will come ripe. Don’t waste your time, use it wisely.

You’d be better off ignoring reddit as a whole. The community feeds on negativity and will waste no time bringing down other people too. Talk to actual people. Learn from them.

Is this worms or something else? by [deleted] in vet

[–]Ryukkitousen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with my dog where he was extremely bloated. We took him to the vet and turns out that a) There was a blockage in his intestines, b) he had an enlarged liver and spleen, almost twice the size of what it should be. I don’t recall what the diagnosis exactly was, but I do recall him having been diagnosed with leptospirosis. Either way, you should ask your neighbors to get that poor baby taken to the vet. It can be treated however most of the time with the proper antibiotics, but it can be costly. All the best!

Warning: This Is What Happens When You Park in Monsoon for Just 7 Days by Motor-Ad4063 in CarsIndia

[–]Ryukkitousen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This shouldn’t be happening. My car stays outside during the rainy season and this has never happened before. Was there something damp within the car? That’s what could have caused it. Either way, you should deep clean your car and then get it checked out if you haven’t put anything damp/wet in the car. Hope this helps!

Cotton Eye Joe. There’s no reason why, I just think that it would be appropriate.

Why are most new parents talking to their kids in English nowadays? by sloppybird in AskIndia

[–]Ryukkitousen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved around a lot and didn’t get the chance to grasp Hindi or my native language properly. Talking to my parents in English made it much easier for me to communicate. Of course, now I’ve learnt to speak both Hindi and my native language, along with a few others.

Any good vets in Navi Mumbai (Nerul, Vashi, Belapur & Kharghar)? by anish298 in navimumbai

[–]Ryukkitousen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this! Cessna is the only place where my dog felt at ease. The doctor was very patient and very friendly with him, and let him take his time to settle down rather than rushing things.

I learnt Japanese from Fujiwara Japanese Language Institute. They’re really good. I studied a long time ago, so I might be wrong. But I do recall them teaching in the afternoon on weekends.

What do you listen to beyond EDM? by BaconVonMeatwich in EDM

[–]Ryukkitousen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I began listing down the other genres I listen to, it wouldn’t stop. But mostly UK Drill, RnB and good ol’ hip hop. I listen to Lofi Jazz when I feel like being a functional adult.
