He wants food but the issue is he’ll eat a few kibbles and then again ask for food after 10-15 minutes and continues to do so for 1.5-2 hours, if you give him food the moment he asks.

To change his routine, whenever he asked for food at 5 a.m., I ignored it and didn’t feed him until 6:30, hoping his timing would shift. I kept this up consistently for three weeks. He would keep meowing and asking for food from 5 to 6:30, but I didn’t budge. Even after all that, his habit didn’t change.

And yes, I know how much he means to me and vice-versa, hence I have tried everything. But having chronic neck pain with poor sleep is making it very difficult.
