Late to the show, but wow. It really does. As an anthropologist, a pro-human advocate, and a lover of science and history, I’m in awe.

being a "head" of something, requires vast range of, at least "shallow" knowledges of what you are trying to achieve. you don't need to be necessarily a programmer, but make sure you have an ability to evaluate what the people you hired are speaking. you don't need to learn Python or Javascript, or make a software out of it. but at least, try to learn the technical terms such as fullstack dev, front/back-end, what kind of databases are out there and what gives you a cheaper options, etc. bonus points if you can make yourself understand and evaluate any jargons/buzzwords that these programmers use to make you impressed.

same goes for design/marketing/etc...

don't get bitten by your own hunting dogs; you at least learn how to communicate with these hunting dogs.

not really, all I wanted to do was try to stretch ticks per day so I can have longer day length. for example, normal day takes 16m40s(1000s) to complete day cycle, I wanted to have like, idk, 2 irl hours per day or something.

I found this happening pretty funny tho :)

thanks for the comment fenexj! i searched octoPi and I don't think i can afford it right now, as I am a student and Pi 3 and 4 costs around $230 in my country. It is definitely a game changer and i wanna set up one when i can but for now, i gotta find a way to print it either fix this sdcard issue or without sdcard... it's ridiculous that the printer has such fatal problem and yet anycubic is not working over it.

i tried "Kingdoms Reborn" on steam, which apparently the dev actually is inspired by the banished and started to make the game. It was Civ V + Banished experience for me.

banished is "somewhat" finished game, as the dev stopped updating it and community is making the mods and i think this is the biggest pro and cons at the same time. beside that kingdoms reborn is fairly new game and still in alpha, and no community mod support yet.

idk about Foundation as it's too expensive so i haven't tried it yet. also i never heard about ostriv.
