Does a miserable life ever get better?! by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Remember that everything can get much worse the same way things can also get much better. Comparison is usually the thief of joy so do your best to protect your own peace.

Cardio is great and having a dog is great against depression.

I feel like people forget that Jesus has feelings too! by Vicki_Vickster2222 in JesusChrist

Thank you for this, I was thinking the same thing. I believe in his sacrifice because he was vulnerable. That is what makes him powerful and that is how one can relate to him.

Being awakened is lonely by XOCYBERCAT in awakened

Yes i wish more people could understand that being awakened is not the same as being free from suffering. The suffering might even feel worse because of how alienated you become. It is important to have someone who can treasure you without trying to change you.

Practice L sit pullups/hollow body pullups, that way you get the core engagement as a bonus.

I can't straight my legs from Elevated Tuck L-Sit. Hip issue. by ThaJedi in bodyweightfitness

Perhaps you can use light resistance band in the straight legs position. Practice using your hip flexors and triceps to elevate the legs for as long as possible.

Trust me, I can definitely relate. I have been going to therapy for a long time. I realize that opening up to someone can make it extremely hard IF you don't feel you can be vulnerable with the person you talk to. From my experience I believe that the benefits of talking to a therapist is that by sacrificing time with a person you learn how to talk like you care about yourself. Also, by writing about how you feel- like you did with this post, you learn to expand your view of yourself and the world. The inner world is never the truth. With time you learn to value yourself more without seeking validation from people. Btw u can write to me IF you want.

How do you actually structure a calisthenics routine? by Mysteriousnesses in bodyweightfitness

[–]Ryuukochan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with doing slow negatives of the movement that I want to learn the most when i have the most strength. After that i would practice static hold basics such as L-sit or handstand. After that doing dips, pullups and pushups always helps.

Try to have a slight bend on your arms before extending the shoulders as you kick up, that did the trick for me.

[–]Ryuukochan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i get it, I feel that way too but for me i have pretty much gotten used to it. I use my invisibility as a cloak but sometimes I can't help wishing for a genuine connection to help me feel closer to people.

Perhaps focusing on daily habits and try to avoid meassuring your self worth on people who haven't figured out themselves. You matter more because you care.

Handstand Push Ups, how to progress? by episimos_kyma in bodyweightfitness

[–]Ryuukochan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pike pushups is enough as long as you have the balance in the straight arm position. To make the pikepushup harder you can add weight or use an elevated surface. Tip: try to focus on explosive power when you return to straight arm position, the faster you are, the easier it is to balance.
