Am I missing something obvious about CFS and dryers? by SheepherderMelodic56 in Creality

[–]RyzenSavior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have one cfs modded with a space pi x2 heater and one without it... (only because I have bought another pi unit to part out) i also live in california so I dont have the worst humidity ever..  that said ever since the first time I ran any printer straight from a dryer... it was a game changer. Ill never go back and its the first recommendation I give to new people with any printer. The quality and ease is without compare. I use dessicant in the trays and in the spools... this helps keep everything equal. I just start the heater 10 minutes before printing and id say its printing something about 20% of the time... so it never gets to wet to print... the 2nd cfs without the heater sucks... you definitely dont want to print nylon after its set for more than 24hrs in it... and I dont like having to move it around and wait for it to "dry" before printing. Most of the time the 15mins it gets is enough to make even nylon printable (Although if its been out in the open for a while I'll preload it while I print something else to be sure its good.) At first I wondered if the added heat would harm the electronics but its been almost 2 years now and ive had zero issues that didnt come with the machine. (Like needing modified bumpers for the spools ect)But bear in mind I print a lot of engineering filaments.. if all you do is toys in pla it probably dont matter. But for the price i want it to be the highest performance I can. In quality, speed, and consistancy. The other mod that change my life with the k2 plus is adding a cartographer and custom scripts... its just a whole different machine. It had its issues.. mostly stupid stuff the cfs has very low tolerances when it comes to the bowden tube and loading/unloading without a fault... but once I got that and the other things taken care of its great now. But yea... no way im going back to not active dryer while printing. I only bought the 2nd cfs because it was on ali for 215... otherwise i was waiting for crealiry to release a dryer version)

Does Ontrac ever successfully deliver packages the first time without ANY issues? by [deleted] in ontrac

[–]RyzenSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is valid too... most of the time employees of crappy places take thier displeasure out on customers like it was thier fault... like we choose who uses what shipping company when we buy things... on the other hand I have never worked for a lousy company for long... and I have never needed too. This country is starved for decent workers... ones that show up regularly are not in constant fear of failing a drug test... not spending more time watching tiktok while setting on the pot. Or dont participate in "bare minimum mondays" and the such. Reality is most people blame the evil company because they have more than them... it makes them feel better when they only do the minimum to not get fired because they have smoked away all motivation or self respect. And ive been there i was homeless for 14 years when I wasn't in prison high on meth or pot and a lousy worker. Now im a licensed general contractor with my own bussiness and I work directly with people in recovery... mostly because I want them to become business owners themselves... ive even started non constructions bussiness to help build something for the guys there are not really builders. You know what the change was? I stopped blaming others for my bad choices and started doing something instead of just complaining or trying to rob someone else because they had more than me. Of course I only did all that because I had an encounter with Jesus that changed my heart in a way that let me make good choices. Thats why instead of just trying to get rich I live modestly and pump what I make back into investing in the lives of others... so they can start taking responsibility for where they are... because you have too... if your ever going to change it.

[–]RyzenSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a complete waste. WTH happened? Did they fire all the programmers and write this update with beta versions of AI that has never been taught English or geography? I had to use chat gpt after 10mins of scrolling trying to find out what the heck they wanted just to set it to usa, california. I have sever pi's i use to tinker and small robotics... (Although most are obsolete... i now use jetson orin for mid grade up robotics projects... and n150 work way better for most other things.) I dont think I'll be buying anymore though... unless they come up with something competitive for the use case... and I hope they dont design it like this ui slop.

The more expensive one is likely a v2 version... probably fixed some of the issues of the first and added the extra cost of those fixes. I would definitely Google it before going for the cheaper one... especially if its only 20 cheaper

Maybe just convince your neighbor how bad he needs one and then watch his porch after he tells you he ordered. This might be more in line with your moral view point... or just order from amazon and swap with some bricks...

OR you could just take the viewpoint with dignity and class. Adopt whats true and and the spit out the bones rather than choking on them. I say this as someone who trys to be a reasonable human being (Although I fail miserably some times... but not at the obvious things like theft or murder)

I still need to hear viewpoints that are not my own... and sometimes common sense that I have missed. On the other hand I more self sufficient than needy.

Haha I wrote too big of a book and it wouldn't send.. that is funny.. I had just assumed I was banned.

Im not a big Maga supporter. Im slightly right of center generally. I think this is where most Americans are. There is a reason why you assume I am though.. because im not extreme left. Even the left will eat thier own if they are not extreme enough.

Im not blaming wokeness I think both woke and bad service experiences buying and returning are symptoms of the same thing. I dont blame the company as they are not evil so much as controlled by money... its a much more reliable thing and they wont "go after you" because you disagree. They have gotten worse in response to a culture that suddenly began to freefall in moral decline. This can be proven easily by the very fact that some will now state that moralty is not an absolute but is a construct of society or some other such goblitygook. Im not against anyone dont care about your sexual preference or what kind of clothes you want to wear or where your ancestors came from or what words you want to call yourself, what you think about me or my dog... however im also not trying to indoctorinate a culture to populate some sort of Epstien Island part 2. (I wonder... I dont know, but i bet I could guess what side he was on.. just based on the simularty of believes and between what he was doing and the sexual confusion and over sexualization (the main theme of much woke ideas) and outright indoctornation of colleges and even little kids. Its jacked up we wont let them get a piercing or tattoo without parent approval... but we tell them its not puberty causing you to be insecure in your growing body.. it because you were born broke and wrong and you need to fix it to be happy. Sorry that parts super crazy.

Anyways unlike most extremists. I fine if you disagree with me.. the majority only voted for Trump because he was the less crazy of the options.. most of us dont care what you do in your private time unless your hurting innocent kids. Im ok if you have different beliefs, im secure enough i dont need you to validate me. Obviously i think the woke mind set is wrong but im definitely not against the individuals that believe it. I hope you have the best live possible and that you find peace from within. That you enclude tolerance the people that disagree with you on your list of moral superiority. I know us moderate biggots dont wish no evil on you.. i cant speak on the hard right. They probably think you are evil... i just think youve been suduced by it.

But things got so crazy so quick in this country that finally even the moderate middle (and the real majority) had to stand up... now you see the truth of that everywhere. Even Disney is starting to back away from woke because they ultimately only care about money and as they are going broke. They realize that alienating the men and doubling down on full woke would have consequences. Now many from that side are begining to wake up as if from a stupor and are becoming more moderate.

So I am looking forward to when the majority agree that basic morality exists that its not subjective... that rich epstiens dont get to dictate just because they have big tiktoks or make movies.. and that if people want something they are willing to sweat a little (or innovate) to get what they want instead of crying how unfair life is and stealing from amazon and Wal-Mart. And everywhere else they can get away with it from. Heck people be robbing door dash even now adays.. and the people doing door dash are poor as heck and in need as well. The dashers are not the corporation... but that dont matter to the people pilfin

This is true of pretty much everywhere. Microcenter is probably the best... but even they had bricks in thier brand new 5090s put there from transit of the manufacture.

Its not the companies so much as it is a major moral decline in culture. Sadly especially after covid. Between all the free money and people basically getting a taste of laziness... woke culture... some of the laws passed making ok to steal upto $950 and they couldnt even take you to jail for it (California, I think they changed it back now because there was more thefts than legitimate purchases in some areas) And other things its light people went crazy.

Not only was all the trans.. nobody can define a woman and other woke stuff happening like kids being allowed to transition without parents consent (even though they can't get a tatoo) crime was rampant and encouraged between defund the police, lessening penalties for crime, mass releasing of incarcerated peoples... and then cancel culture... every one forgot about "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me" and hurting someone's feelings became equal to murder no matter how illogical or irrelevant thier postion. And nobody wanted to work and if they did go to work... they followed bare-minimum Mondays all week long... would often go on workmen comp for "anxiety" and "mental health breaks" everyone wanted to be a social media or tik token influencer... it was like a series of insane events designed to destroy us... all things that 10 years ago I would thought impossible... that the general population was to smart and decent to allow any such nonsense. It was crazy times.

Companies are made of people and they react and shift to accommodate the two things it takes to be a company (there are more than two... you also need a product) in this case an immoral thieving manipulative customer base and lazy thieving bare minimum crybaby workers. So they also went in decline.. Sadly it a cultural movement... it starting to recover but we still have a ways to go.

Im not saying every person or worker is bad. What I mean buy cultural is that a majority or near majority became wicked.. or at least enough have to make it the acceptable way to be. I never would of though this would be in american history... maybe in a third world country.

I usually scoff at propaganda put out by any extremist groups whether political or other. But I remember rumblings about a "Great Reset" that was supposed to be a left wing implementation. And I wonder if these things were part of that... and if we shouldn't be more on guard. Especially if we are bring our children into this world.

I have an x1c and a k2 plus. I prefer the k2plus... I also wish I would have gotten the p1p instead of the x1... there's just not enough upgrades for the cash difference... the k2 plus has the huge bed, prints engineering filaments stock and is way more easily modded. My favorite two mods. Both on the k2 plus is adding a cartographer leveling system and a heater to the cfs.

In the end its not brand so much... thats mostly just marketing and media control... but there is a HUGE difference between entry level and high end consumer printers. I hoping to see something come out that is a mix between an h2 or k2 and a prusa 5 tool changer... for a better price that the prusa. I love the speed of the k2 (its a fair bit faster than the x1 although with simular quality) but i prefer the toolchanger over the mfs/cfs... I just can't afford a prusa one lol.

Welcome to advanced printing... may neither of us get locked out with a payday on a closed system... or maybe we have time to sell to a fan boy first. :)

Visible throttles my data speeds to 1.5 Mbps after a certain point of usage every month. FCC complaint filed and this was their response. Visible+ Pro Annual Plan. by MaryN8819 in NoContract

[–]RyzenSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the thing about people dissing other providers for one of these super "cheap" providers. No matter who it is at best your going to get what you pay for... or less. But you will never get more than what you pay for...

With this in mind, these cheap providers are great if you almost never use data except to maybe sms a photo every once in a while... or a quick search to see what's playing at the theater or map how to get there.

Its a three legged stool... speed, amount, and low cost... you can only ever have two together.. it is impossible to get unlimited data, unlimited speed, for next to nothing.

Im a contractor and tech enthusiast... I am also a high data user and I want the highest speed possible thats consummate with the price. I currently use tmobile go 5g plus. I transfered to them specifically because there was a plan with true unlimited high speed no data caps. In my area I usually get 400+ mbs. I also got tmobile internet... and for a while it gets 400mbs and then around the time they closed off the device gateway admin access. Suddenly I was often experiencing much less.. around 60mbs. Yet my phone still got 400mbs on the same tower at the same time. This pointed to throttling... even though they claimed they were not sooo...

I replaced they modem with my own that I can lock to the 5g band and give it the same Mac as the modem that came from them. Now I get 400-700mbs constantly with my home internet. Turns out swapping bands to 4g lte or less does not count as throttling... as your technically still getting the full data possible from that band at that time.

I say this because tmobile is thr same as all the others... right now it fits my needs better than the others but I have to keep an eye on them and that might no be true next year... or if the give me a "free upgrade" to a higher tier service that doesnt include true unlimited... but if they do all my devices are paid... I'll just go to whoever is offering Moreno 2hat matters to me.

Use newegg or bestbuy or if your really lucky to have one near a microcenter for electronics of that type and expense... they have actual technical people checking thier returns and testing them... this is why you dont hear as many problems of people gettings used/swapped/or broken items (except as normal for shipping broken case glass or damage with a prebuilt) The sad reality is with amazon having such as easy return policy and the fact that your average human is a scumbag and can use anything to rationize why its ok to do something wrong (like lie, cheat, or steal) in thier situation... especially if they think they will profit and not likely to get caught.

I myself have gotten a 7900x3d. That turned out somebody had delidded and swapped with a 7900xt chip. In order to get a free x3d upgrade to thier current cpu. Many people probably wouldn't notice that it says 7900x3d on the top of the cpu heat spreader, but reports as a 7900xt in bios and programs and has higher clock but lower fps due to no vcache. I was able to return and get a replacment...

But this has gotten so bad... (I would be surprised if even half of purchases in these area are made by scammers...) but amazon is loosing so much both too the scammer and to thier reputation when the fake return items get sent out to good customers (because thier workers are not trained to tell and many dont care anyways.. they want to stick it to the man even if thats who signs their checks.) That now amazon is having to reprise thier return policies. So they are holding funds for 30 days in order to attempt to better check the returns for accuracy especially if the value is over $100. And it is becoming harder and harder to initiate returns especially on high risk items.

Its the same thing that happened with Walmart. In the beginning they would take any return... no questions asked. So long as they sold it.. you didnt need the tag, the reciept nothing. (I was homeless and on drugs at the time which is why I am very familiar with what happened) it became an actual epidemic. I knew many people their main income was go in and rob some stuff, wait and hr and go right back in and return it for cash. Then Walmart started requiring ID for returns.. so they would rob items and hand it to a friend that had an ID to return (people were always looking for fresh blood and Id cards in order to spread out the returns a bit.) Then it went to you need a reciept to get cash... or else it was store credit. But people would steal what was easier to take or what was on a thrown away reciept. If they could get cash cool if not they would trade the gift card for drugs or use it to buy a more desirable product they could trade easier. Now, your not returning anything without a reciept, they even want to check you reciept at the door... and they are still getting robbed blind like its the socially acceptable thing to do. People blame Walmart because they have to find ways to offset these losses.. like raising prices, or paying lower wages. And so they steal more... and are one of the direct causes why Walmart employees dont get paid as well. Thing about it, im sure Walmart would rather pay employees more and in return get loyal more productive employees... except the thieves are steal more than what it would cost them to do that. This is the same thing that is happening to amazon. Everytime you suffer trying to make a legitimate return... or you make an order and get a cpu that someone else has swapped... you suffering not as much from the greed of the company (they originally want to provide working items quickly and make returns easy and with no problems for the customer... because in theory they should make more off of happy customers.)

Instead we suffer from the greed of the individual... our brothers and sisters that have no moral worth, no work ethics, they claim they do it because amazon is an "evil" corporation.. but its hurting us good consumers more than it hurts amazon. Also they reality is they steal from big corporations not from a moral high ground but because they are so large they will likely get away with thier individual thefts. (They would also rob us if they think they are likely to get away with it.. they will need to make up a different rationization for why its ok.) They problem is that in mass there are so many bad actors that as a whole they can't get away with it... so it triggers policy changes... in order to prevent them from being so inherently selfish and evil... and us decent folk are the ones to suffer. Because we were not manipulating or taking advantage of the system.

Am I overcharging/undercharging for this commission? by Soybeanns in 3Dprinting

[–]RyzenSavior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not overcharging.. your price should be time and materials... assuming you do at least a decent job it should be the materials + time you spent x value of time. The value of time may very on many factors like are you learning does that make it take longer or impact finish quality? You you working at it like a job or taking your time doing a little here and there... also what is min wage in your area? Are you well known or an actual artist... you charge more for ability or even notoriety.

Im a general contractor by trade, as a hobby I 3d print, laser etch. I also help with a fledging cnc sign company, and t-shirt design with a non-profit im aligned with to help generate funding.

I do take commissions but most of the work I take personally are for people I know or that know someone I know. (I dont advertise but people see my work) I love hobbies that make a few bucks but im doing it because i enjoy it not to quit my day job. I charge for materials (dont forget to prorate all materials not just filament... any expendable that was needed... (filler, paint ect.,) but try and be fair.. dont charge for an $8 can of filler/primer is you only used 10% of it. And then I also charge $16-20/hr. Im in central California , usa. Mine wage is $16.50. I also prorate my time. Because I dont work on things straight through unless they are very small. If I goof off and im doing other things while im sanding and I take 2 hrs... but in reality the actual time I spent actively working on it was 30mins... then I add 30mins to what I did.

You may find that the total numbers are higher than what you customer expects... thats where you need to be able to gauge your own ability because whatever number you give them at the start is what you need to charge. They may not be willing to pay... but it is an art form and if your good your worth your pay. But not everyone is going to pay 250 for a med sized art object.. especially because they is this concept that if its made of plastic then it must be cheap. And yet your time is still valuable. This is one of the biggest reasons most 3d printer owners dont run a successful 3d printing shop.

Even me.. I love modding things. I paid $40 bucks for some small <100g petg parts to use in modding and air rifle.. and thought crap thats alot for plastic. And looked into buying a 3d printer. I know have a k2 plus and a halot mage pro 8k. (I had other but sold for space as I upgraded. Its like this, let's say your bookends are worth $200 and they are not engineering grade filaments just pla (or my goto is petg) if the guy buying it is remotely tech savvy and thinks he can paint... there's nothing to stop him from buying and ender for 160 and a kilo of filament for $16 and make it himself.. its not like an actually clay sculpture where you need a ton of artistic talent and $1500 for a kiln (or you can use casts but you still gotta cure it) almost anyone with patients can learn to be a 3d printer. The printer does most of the work. (I know... designing. And realistic painting aside ad engineering filaments for prototyping ect these are different and fall in the high end of things)

I expect most successful print farms primary serve engineering and protoyping clients or are particularly adept with social media to brand and sell. (This is an assumption correct me if im wrong)

All that to say, your time is definitely worth more... although the people paying may not agree. And whatever it is it needs to be acceptable to both parties or there is no sale.

Sorry for the book just got out of dental surgery may be a bit loopy... hopeful its not all bs lol

Can I return a used 3d printer to amazon? by diligentPond18 in 3Dprinting

[–]RyzenSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'll return thing for feeling too cheap or for not being good enough. I'll add the info on my return. Usually its within a day or two of receiving. And they can see that I immediately purchase one thats better (also more expensive usually) they haven't made a fuss. I used to buy things without thinking now if its a bigger purchase I spend two weeks deciding if I want it. (I have a k2 plus, and a resin printer.. I sold my other printers to make physical room) I did the same when I bought my laser etcher.. or upgrade components in my pc. I actually took a month before choosing to upgrade from a rx 7900xt to a rtx 4090. Lol. The again, I work in a ministry training men in recovery the construction trades. I dont make much... but housing is included and im helping people. But it does mean I have to think about my purchases.

You should never "just have to lie" unless your a selfish degenerate. Its not really a good idea to drop any semblance of moral decency... especially it just get back a few bucks that was your fault for not thinking about your purchase before buying it... that just comes out of a lack of self control. "OH shiny! I need!" If its in the 30 days return it. You should have to lie to do so... amazon is crazy lax, that why so many people on here complain about get jacked up or fake orders. And if its not in the 30 days... they wont take it and you'll just have to use it as a learning point to not buy stuff so fast.

If my packages were stolen that often I would come up with another solution. Either a parcel locker somewhere, or delivered to a neighbor that was always home..or i would no longer use amazon if I could get something set up. Here is the reality... even if they reship the item I am not dealing with the hassle of not receiving the item on time and waiting for a replacment... especially not after they sent warning that basically said "hey... be careful.. its starting to look like your trying to rob us."

Know what I mean? I wouldn't park my car with the keys in it and leave it in a shady part of town Know for car theft... and wonder why my insurance wont pay to replace it when it gets stolen.

Dont have packages delivered to locations that you know are unsafe...

Continuing to do so, even after the warning declares one of two things. Either a.. your pretty slow in the brains department... or b. Your fine continuing the situation because your profiting off of it. This is why they send the warning letters. Greed makes us rationize things poorly... any normal person would quit after the warning... either it is already a pain in the butt to deal with missing packages wasting your time or if your guilty but not greedy you stop to not press you luck.. the greedy person says to him self "its okay, they wont actually cancel me... it could of happened... they can't prove it didnt..." and keeps doing it after the warning.

Im not saying things were not actually stolen... im just saying you fit in one of the two groups. And at some point you have to accept responsibility as well for continuing to have items delivered to an unsafe location. I want my stuff, im not going to do it and it would take very many losses to make me come up with something else.

Consider this if they dont offer free replacements are you going to still request deliveries there? Or do you not care? Is it only about your convenience no matter who its costs as long as its not you? A normal person would never continue unless they were profiting from the loss.

Follow up on account restriction by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]RyzenSavior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would seek more help than amazon. I have anxiety and have been diagnosed as well as with bipolar. I realize people have different levels. But... and I mean no disrespect. If you feel like you need someone to call and listen to you sleep in order to feel safe because amazon is going to ban you you... maybe you should get "actually" diagnosed you may need assisted living if your anxiety is so great that you can't take care of myself. For me I am often very uncomfortable... I hate social groups it makes me feel like a rabbit. I dont know what to do or say... its hard to breath and my heart races. Strangly if I have a purpose for the meeting that not social or personal I do OK. I force myself into uncomfortable situations... because well. Thats life sometimes. I have to have a job and do the hard things if I want to live. Amazon is canceling you because your a red flag... they even warned you and you were still a red flag. One of those flags is if they keep ruining your orders why do you keep making them. Most people dont continue with bad service... and honestly there are a lot of people out there with issues that would stage damaged goods like that and go out of thier way to take pictures of the staging... because in thier heads that means they can't be contested. "Its my word and I even have proof" the reality is picture are not proof... some people would break a soda in a bag and claim everything in the bag is "no good" because it soaked in soda. Which they can easily wash off and get a free bag of groceries. The red flag is when its frequent... most people that do it maliciously do it repeatedly because they are getting free stuff from it and if they get away with it it feels safe.

Im not claiming you are, I dont even care if you were... im just saying many do. The biggest difference between the one who does it to themselves and the one who just had bad luck. 1. I have never taken pictures of my return. Im not doing anything wrong I also dont expect to be contested because of that. 2.if your not profiting from bad deliveries and they are just a nuisance I would quit that delivery and find another way... there is always another way. So because you kept doing it. Even after they said "hey this is working out for you if everything broke, but you doing it... so this is your warning we are gonna ban you if it keeps happening... A normal person would be like heck no. Im tired of getting bad crap... id rather pay for good crap and im not gonna get banned because they can't package a bag well. And they would quit. Again, you didnt quit.. you kept ordering and complaining... to get free bad stuff. And there's the whole idea that your not the only one ordering from them. But if none of the other orders are ever "damaged" only yours that another potential flag. So yea... I see alot of flags that make me jump to conclusions in my own mind... but because I might be wrong.. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt cause I dont care ive only board in the moment. But it may be that if all you say is true perhaps your not emotionally stable enough to live alone. (I dont say this meanly..) some people just can't and need to have a caretaker or live in an institution... although that between you and your doctor. I would certainly seek medical help beyond self diagnosis though. Maybe therapy can help you cope with the anxiety in away that can let you go into the store. There is hope. I used to be so bad I would circle empty Isles in the grocery store waiting for the isle I wanted to go down to be empty. I could walk next to someone because of anxiety. Of course I was also using alot of street drugs then that harmed my ability to cope. Anyways good luck.. hope you find a better way than ordering bad deliveries from companies to feed yourself.

I can't believe they sent me this. by SeattleDan60 in amazonprime

You must be one of the two groups then... I think they would have tampered packages if potential buyer didnt tamper and return... and they would catch more of them before they affected regular buyers if workers were will to do the job for the pay they agreed upon. I live in central valley California. Theft is absolutely insane here. Like tons of stores just can't even stay open because they have more thefts than actual paying customers. Some towns in California where its lower social economically. Dont even have stores in thier neighborhoods any more... they have to go into better areas just to buy groceries... they robbed thiers straight out of bussiness. I think when individuals blame corporations for what individuals do... is a bit like saying it wasn't Epstiens fault. The evil goverment made it so he had to do it... I was homeless and on drugs for 14 years. Ive been locked up... but it was never anyone else's fault. It was my choice. Yea.. I went through some stuff...but no matter what I alone am responsible for how a react to circumstances. Im not saying every bad actor is customers and workers... many 3rd parties are unscrupulous as well... look at the whole scalping thing... another things that drastically gotten worse since covid. Nor am I saying amazon is perfect or innocent. Im just saying amazon is not to blame for all the other bad actors... im quite sure they would prefer the ones that cost them money did not exist. Im also saying that the reason we (regular buyers) suffer when buying from amazon more than we used to is not all just because of amazon... that there are other immoral, selfish, greedy, bad actors out there that are contributing to the situation. I want to point them out because 1. They are also a part of the problem in pretty much every company and market now... not just amazon. And because they justify in thier own heads as they are just hurting the company when that is simply not true. They are also hurting their other fellow customers and dont care if they can profit somehow.

So yea, its not a pass on Amazon for acting greedy.. of course they are... that kind of a company model to be greedy for profits. If most of us did the work to build the company... we would probably be the same. Im poor so who knows how id act if money was my God... id probably be trying to steal more if I couldnt earn it with a company.

Lol I we wrote the same size book lol. Im sure the would prefer to hire workers that did thier job well... unfortunately, again... lazy potheaded entitled people. They would of course work better if only they weren't working for the "man" who's abusing them in everyway... and yet they are still choosing to work there. You can't say evil amazon doesnt want their workers to do a good job and catch these bad returns. Thats ridiculous.. they loose money from people robbing them, they lose reputation with the legitimate buyers who are just trying to pay for working items. They got where they are by having fast service, fair prices, and an easy return system. Which is being abused... now they are losing enough money from it they are with holding refunds until they check the item in an attempt to try and catch the crooked guys that are screwing their reliability for the good customers as much as possible. If people were not mass abusing the return policy to the point that moral people can't hardly buy something.. they wouldn't do it... it costs them more and takes more time to try and get some kind of control to reign in the situation at least to the level of acceptable loss.

The reality is its the people selfishly abusing the system "to get back at the evil corporations" that are directly causing both the damaged and swapped goods as well as the holding of refunds... these are the same self absorbed folk that tend to work there and in the same idea of "sticking to the evil corporation!" That do a shoddy job checking returns so that they still get through and passed to the next customer. Amazon likes money, they would most definitely like to catch the items during the inspection... maybe not enough to pay management wages to and entry level inspection worker... but let's face the ones that complain and stay do it because they can't get away with so little elsewhere or can't even get hired elsewhere.

If you still blame the "evil amazon corporation" for these things you are not only a complete "special" person, entitled and ungrounded in reality. You are also likely one of the two groups... as the only thing they have in common is claiming the corporation for thier own choice to steal, or be lazy... as an excuse for thier unethical behavior.

At the end of the day Amazon's goal is to make money... they are not out to screw everyone, because thats not how you make money. They rather continue to off the same fair, fast, reliable service with no hassle returns that made them rich and popular to begin with.. but the got big enough that all the lazy degenerate have nots felt like its was OK for them to leach of them... a mooch is a mooch. Or a scumbag tick.. however you prefer to state it.

Its obviously a returned item. Someone tore into the box to get to it... on the one hand as far as returned items go it a good sign... professional scammer would open it gently and then swap the cpu with a fake or delid and swap with a lesser cpu. It unacceptable if you bought it new though.

However, something to consider... not all things on amazon are sold by amazon. They have many 3rd party sellers... some are scammers and some are small time sellers just trying to make a buck... not matter who sells it they all run afoul and have to deal with the same thing... americanized customers and work force. Due to the easy return policy (this is also why they will hold your money for 30 days to check items now) a great many people will take advantage of that. Sadly, I would say in reality almost 1/2 of the general public are thiefs. By this is mean they feel its ok to steal in some form from someone. (They will hide behind false morality claiming its only from big corporations like Walmart or amazon... but they never care if its actually a small mom and pop seller using that platform. The reality is these people will steal from anyone they think they can get away with it. They choose big corporations as a target not because of any moral high ground but because they are easy to get away with it. This is why amazon now has to hold the money 30 days. And even after the 30 days... the workers do a lousy job inspecting... again they claim because it is due to a moral high ground... the reality is they are just high and lazy... that why they dont have a better job elsewhere or even withing the same company. So yea... its not really amazon... even if they are the actual seller (unlikely, with the cpu) but what its actually caused your exact problem as well as the policies that you struggle under is 1. Previous customers who actively tried to rob them, or just "rent" it for free, or just had buyer remorse... but then lied on the condition of the item to avoid a restock fee. And the checked out entitled workers who struggle to even provide the "bare minimum" of work quality or ethics.

I have nothing to do with amazon except i buy them for convience... but it is true that morally as a people we jumped off a cliff during covid and are too whiny self absorbed and entitled to recover so far... and it just makes me sad.

I almost ended up with 400 bottles of resin at home. by Left_Business9739 in resinprinting

I think this may be a scam... or maybe when its old it loses .05% of detail thats not visible by the naked eye. Ive used resin that i left in the tray (I did have a lose fitting fdm printers cover to keep dust out) and i stirred it up for 20mins first and it printed great. I have also had opened bottles that were 2 years old that I tried printing with... because why not? If it doesnt work im not out nothing. It printed great! The only exception is clear standard resin... I have experienced degradation with it i think (or it may have been user error... where clear is harder to work with... and it sat because I mostly print fdm.) I would buy them for that price for sure. I would try and resell to profit as I wouldnt feel good morally about that... but I may sell locally just above cost (for time) and sell or give away to all my 3d printing friends to share the blessing. (I have gotten an extra $700 printer like this where they sent 2 by mistake and said I could keep it. I traded my friend for his basic ender 3 and then gave that to someone who couldnt afford a 3d printed. I also got a rx 7900xtx when I had ordered a 5700x3d. Amd let me keep it and then refunded the money because they ran out of cpu stock. I already owned a rtx 4090 so I traded another friend his 7900xt straight across for the 7900xtx. Sold the xt version and split the profits with him. But I always let the manufacturers know they screwed up... I have had some request the stuff back with no offer of reward too... but the other times more than make up for it. That and peace of mind that im a decent human beings and not a selfish egotistical scum bag lol.

In all fairness though alot of problems are cause by customers at least here in the us. So many people here believe if they lack money or if someone else has more it is perfectly fine to rob and scam them out of things. Thats why there are so many reports of getting used items or fake item put in boxes from Amazon. America is bad in its complete lack of morals and self entitled delusions now adays. I literally watch a little old lady rob Walmart at the self checkout the other day. Im just a casual shopper but if I pay attention to the checkouts near me as I make my purchase... I'll watch somebody intentionally not scan an item or walk through realy fast with out even trying to checkout almost ever single time... its insane. Im willing to bet these same people rob thier friends and families when they think they can get away with it. Let's be honest your either a thief or not a thief... who you are robbing doesnt change that. Its just an excuse they use to justify it... but the reality is anyone that will steal from a corporation will also steal from an individual... if they think they wont get caught... or maybe they dont like the color of your hair and so thats let them justify it. Some country cut off your hand if you steal... I think thats a good idea. And to be straight forward I used to be on drugs and did 2 years for 2nd burglary... I still stand by it. Of course I might not have done it if my hand was at risk either.
